“I have been a customer of Costello's Pizza for over 20 years. The pizza is consistently excellent and the wraps are very fresh. The Greek salad is a real treat. You can't go wrong with any of the food offerings at Costello's.

The restaurant itself is quite large but is seldom used as the majority of Costello's business is takeout or delivery. With sufficient notice, the restaurant will accommodate a large group of family event.”

“I'm driving all over the city everyday for work and have become a bit of a pie aficionado. The pies at Shami's are top tier fresh, delicious ingredients, and the folks that work there are really wonderful. The traditional options are perfect, and they have some less common options that are really really good (specifically the mohamara with extra spice). Easily in the top three pie spots of Ottawa.

“Certainly amongst the best Turquish restaurant in Ottawa even if the place is modest and simple but greatly clean, well ordered and with owner couple top class. Menu with a large amount of different delicious choices. The review made by Ottawa Citizen one month after their opening is still very actual and totally worth the large amount of kudos received. Bravo to the very gentle owner's couple. The food is great and reminded us our meal taken in Kusadasi few years ago. We are going to use this spot on a very regular basis for sure.”

“Where to start here? I guess with the most obvious topic - the beer. It's consistent, creative, and most importantly delicious. Whether it's at the brewery or a festival, the offerings from Broadhead are top notch.

The brewery itself is a gem. There is almost always something fun happening. Bingo and trivia are a regular event, and there are even concerts throughout the week which is cool. What makes it even cooler is that it's all free. If you get a chance to check out the wrestling events you should absolutely do that too. Such a great time!

Next up is the staff. Everyone there is a beauty. Always friendly, engaging, and willing to recommend something if I can't decide (which isn't often. NEIPA for the win).

Even their marketing. Their FB and IG posts are fun and they are reflective of the atmosphere when you visit.

I have been to a bunch of different breweries in Ottawa, but Broadhead is the one I have been to the most and I don't see that changing any time soon.”

Price point is always lower than competition. Curds squeak fries crisp as well as soft inside. Gravy amazing. If you aren’t a poutiner the salt and vinegar fries are also amazing.”
