So we had to eat just the fried rice and soup without any mains. They offered that the rice will be on the house, but then secretly charged us for it. Overall the staff was very disrespectful and not courteous at all. Food was good though but not worth the service we got.”

“Have been visiting Golden Fries since the start of the Pandemic. The chicken parm sandwich has always been my go to. Disappointed tonight by the change in the chicken. Tasted similar to a Jane's patty and not the big chunk of chicken normally served on this sandwich. If this is the new normal for this sandwich I won't be getting it again. The fried curds are delicious and my son loves the Whistle dog.”

I kept it simple with a 2 egg breakfast, which came with home fries (deliciously done with onions and some strips of green pepper), choice of protein (I went with bacon ?), baked beans, toast and a couple pieces of fresh fruit. My partner had the eggs benedict - 2 eggs benny with choice of protein (she went with ham), home fries and a couple pieces of fresh fruit. We finished it off with a couple mugs of coffee. Everything was fantastic, including the service.The bit that took it to the next level, though, was the live 2 person band, playing guitar and fiddle. I've recently discovered Black Walnut Bakery and was not only blown away by the product but by the staff and the atmosphere. I HIIIIIIGHLY recommend them ! Their multi-grain bread WILL knock your socks off (not to mention scrumptious desserts)”

The food quality and portions are good, the price is reasonable, and the staff are very nice. It is in a small location and has a family-owned atmosphere. “The minute I walked in it was the smell of baked goods! I knew what I was in for. It brought me right back to my vacation in Lebanon years and years ago. The meat pie is perfectly made. “TLDR: Indian and Indo-Chinese fusion cuisine in Orleans. Excellent flavours and real spicy, but very oily/greasy. My brother ordered some food from Anmol Indian Cuisine for us to try. He got the Chilli Chicken $16.99, Kadai Chicken $17.99, Chicken Hakka Noodles $16.99 and an order of basmati rice $2.99. The Chili Chicken was my favourite. It had a nice amount of heat and came with green peppers and onions. The chicken was lightly battered, and was lean breast meat. The chicken had this artificial reddish hue, which I found a bit unusual. The flavours were delicious but the sauce was so oily/greasy. The Chicken Kadai was also lean chicken breast meat, which I appreciated. This dish was less spicy, but was still full of flavour. My only complaint is again the sauce was really oily. The Chicken Hakka Noodles were ok. They had lean chicken breast meat, cabbage, onions, green peppers and carrots. The noodles were slightly spicy but stir fried in too much oil. The only thing that wasn't oily was the basmati rice, which was soft and fluffy. My dad loved the food. While he was eating it he was already planning his next order there, haha. When he finished eating he asked which restaurant it was from so he could research the menu online. He is so cute! Haha. My mom also enjoyed the food, but she felt it was a bit too spicy for her. My assessment was delicious food, but too oily/greasy. I took a peak at their online menu too and saw they have chicken pakora. I might have to give that a try sometime. I also usually get my Chili Chicken dry without gravy, so I might see what their Dry Chili Chicken is like. (20)”

“I did not know why this place is so popular when I tried their food for the first time. But I later realized that their fries and poutines are extremely addictive and now I cannot live without their poutines anymore. This shop is closed during winter times, and waiting for their opening in Spring so difficult every year. I am such an addict.”

“This bakery is one of a kind, these people go out of there way to donate bread and pastries to local food banks in the area. The bread is out of this world, nothing will beat my moms baked pastries though ? but again the service and quality of bread is legitimately a 15 out of 10.”
