“Very quaint little restaurant. The service is top notch. The Sashimi and Nigiri are extremely delicious and high quality. Unfortunately the non spicy Maki rolls didn't have much taste to them but they were extremely tender.

It is quite expensive however I can tell they use high quality authentic ingredients.

We will definitely be returning!

“The best bakery In Ottawa. Excellent service, very clean place, best meat, cheese and zaatar pies you can ask for. I go from Hunt club to Orleans to get my pies from them. Their pies are always fresh fresh , their dough is very soft. I strongly recommend this place, once you started getting their pies you will not go any other place.”

Il y a une belle ambiance conviviale et on se sent réellement bien accueilli à chaque visite! Tout est bien rangé et propre chez Gutsies et le décor est au goût du jour. Les pâtisseries sont absoooolument délicieuses - on ne pourrait jamais dire qu'elles sont sans gluten - et ils offrent une grande variété de produits frais et congelés. On y trouve de tout! Un stop obligé à Kanata ou à Orléans, qui vaut bel et bien le détour! Longue vie à Gutsies! Merci d'exister!”

“Best Caribbean food I have had in the 613. True home flavour- balancing heat, flavour, texture. Quality and quantity on POINT. Service friendly and efficient. Highly recommended. I have had chicken roti, goat and j*** chicken with sides rice and peas, plantain and veg. A blessing to taste these hardworking and honest folks’ food. Don’t rush- this is not fast food.”

“Hosted my baby shower here and it was a real hit. Everyone was super impressed with the aesthetic and vibe of the venue. The owner was super accommodating, we were able to bring in our own food and decorate. We did purchase our drinks from the bar and ordered pizzas from the menu but it was nice being able to bring in other snacks and finger foods as well. The staff were all super friendly and professional and made sure we had everything we needed. Would definitely recommend for hosting parties.”

“Tried Fritomania and the poutine was pretty solid overall. The fries were really good and I liked that they use peanut oil but the gravy was a little off for me because it tasted like it wasn’t mixed properly, the top was kind of plain and then it got really salty near the bottom. Still a good poutine though and I’d give it a 4 out of 5. The deep fried cheese curds were such a good idea and easily a 5 out of 5, crispy on the outside and really cheesy inside and probably my favourite thing we got.”
