“Stopped by this evening and picked up a half‑dozen assorted bagels. Everything looked fresh, well‑made, and exactly what you hope for from Kettlemans. The shop had that familiar, steady energy — staff moving with purpose, shelves stocked, and the bagels coming out with that classic sheen.

The assortment I grabbed looked great in the bag, and the photos I took really show off the texture and colour. A simple, reliable stop that delivers every time.

“I recommend Kettlemans as the food is good and they have good variety. That said. The service is sub-par. My wife and I stop here regularly on Sunday Mornings about 7 am 2 or 3 times a month. Consistently nobody greets us even though there are many workers who make eye contact and just keep doing whatever they're doing. More often than not we have to call out to get attention after waiting several minutes at the front counter. Management doesn't seem to value customer service and simply expects people to keep coming back as if Kettlemans' history entitles them to customers. That is a surprising attitude in an otherwise excellent store.“

“Love their lemon cranberry, jalapeno cheddar, and pumpernickel bagels. We get their challah bread every week. Only complaint would be the do not discount their two day old bread. No offense but they really should. It is 2 days old, and no longer as fresh.“

“Good selection of bagels - always super fresh. They also make good sandwiches. We had the BLT and the Club - they were good, prepared w fresh ingredients (lettuce, tomatoes, cheese, chicken/bacon). Perfect amount of mayo.

Not too many chairs however inside so it can get cramped really easily.

The restaurant also smelled very strongly of curry - there’s an Indian place as well there on some days (Thursday to Sunday). Would definitely go back but on Monday-Wednesday only - the smell was very overpowering and our bagels sort of “tasted like” the curry :/“
