“This place honestly doesn’t need another great review, its reputation for incredible sandwiches already says it all. The food is absolutely amazing and lives up to every bit of the hype.

What really stood out to me, though, was the service. It was nothing short of exceptional. Everyone was so kind, welcoming, and genuinely friendly. It’s been a very long time since I’ve experienced this level of professionalism and class. You can tell they truly care about their customers, and that made the entire experience even better.“

Marcello's Market and Deli Deli • $
345 Preston St, Ottawa

“Ordered Marcello’s on Uber Eats, and it was delicious.

I had the Philly cheese steak and it was a generous portion, fresh ingredients, and overall well balanced.

My colleague had the poutine too and said it was so good.

With the delivery and everything it came under $20 per person.“

Vie Bella Deli • $
87 Sparks St., Ottawa

“In before the weird lady who was in the line up with me today- she came in asking questions about the soup of the day and what kind of sandwiches- theres a giant menu floating above the cash and the staff named two soups of the day. Supposedly she felt “pressured” and didn’t want to dine in after the interaction.

I suspect she didn’t like that there was no washroom she could use.

Its a no frills type of eatery. A couple of seats- lots of drinks options and baked goods.

Its a nice mom & pop shop specializing in sandwiches and subs.“
