“In spite of being named for Athens, the restaurant is more of a shawarma shop. I got the large chicken sandwich with all the usual shawarma things like pickles and that purple turnip, plus extra garlic sauce. The portion was a good size for the price and the quality was high - chicken wasn't dried out like in some places. The kid also liked her small chicken sandwich. What I liked most was how friendly the staff were - I assume they are owner-operators. Skip the chain restaurants and support nice people like them!“

“I've been eatting Greeks to go since 2006. I've moved acrossed the country and I crave them so much. They have remembered me and when I come back to Ottawa, they are very accommodating. “Hubby and I LOVE this place. One of the best Greek food we’ve had. Their food never fails to dissapoint. The chicken souvlaki is amazing, always cooked to perfection! The potatoes and gyros sandwiches with that yummy tzatziki sauce .. delicious!! My husband loves the calamari. Highly recommend; great food, good sized portions and well priced!!“

“not only do they have amazing food but the owner goes above and beyond. i have been ordering from this establishment for 10 years. when I was in highschool near by years ago, he made sure no one went hungry. he offered food to those students who had no money and went by the honor system to pay him back. he asked for no thanks. this establishment deserves to be recognized. delicious food and service above and beyond“

“I would rate 20 stars if I could.There are not enough words in the English language to describe how amazing this establishment is. I work at an office not too far away (Morrison Dr), and we often try different restaurants on days where we have big meetings or in-office training. Greek On Wheels (Cobden) consistently outdoes themselves, exceeding all expectations on take out food (they are now the only restaurant we order from). The food is AMAZING. It is delivered quickly, and is hot and fresh and absolutely delicious. Every point of customer service is AMAZING from the man who answers the phone, to the man who delivers the food (there are two that I have met, both amazing). The man on the phone (I must start asking names) is so patient with me when I have big orders, often with substitutions or special requests, and everything is delivered accurately, labelled properly, and always on time - one time he delivered the food to us himself because their drivers were so busy and he didn’t want us to have to wait. They even call me back on occasion to follow up and double check that we are satisfied. They really take care of us, and go above and beyond any other restaurant I have been to. “Zero complaints about this spot. The lineup wasn`t bad at all considering the time at which I went (12:00 PM) and although they didn`t have what I wanted on the menu, they accommodated me. I had a small greek salad with a chicken skewer and tzaziki. The food was fresh, seasoned perfectly and the price was just right.“
