McDonald's in Ottawa

“I have nothing to say but 6/5 stars for Guilherme (the manager in the red shirt) and Rohith (the guy in black), who are ALWAYS very attentive and kind. I’ve never had such a PERFECT experience at any McDonald’s. They are very special and hard workers. They work the night shift and are always wearing a big smile. I’m not the biggest fan of McDonald’s, but they make me feel at home, and red always makes the best hamburgers and wraps. Guilherme (red) always goes above and beyond to make customers happy. Even with something as simple as asking for a cup of tap water, he pays attention to every little detail, like asking what size we want and how much ice we’d like, and he prepares it quickly. It doesn’t matter how close I am to a McDonald’s, I’ll always order from this one! They keep things clean and organized. If there’s ANYTHING, please call the guy in red. He’s always going to be there to assist you! Great prices and service. Thank you again. 🥹🥰💞“

“Me and the fellas had a monstrous order and the staff were up to the task. Badriyah provided us excellent service while the staff in the kitchen made the best sixty nuggets of our lives. Would highly recommend this location when the midnight shift is working!“

“I’ve been here twice and the two employees I’ve been greeted with are so friendly and kind.

I keep forgetting to ask for their names but I’ visited the store on Oct 1 and bought a meal at 1140 am. It was the man that took my order and there another young girl working (i think she was the only one on shift ). Hopefully this information helps and they get some recognition!“

“I was visiting from New Hampshire and I stopped in for food on my way drive back home last night. One of the managers, Mercedes served me with a smile on her face the entire time and she even made my fries fresh per my request! Overall was such a great environment to be in. I’d definitely stop in again on my next trip if I knew she was going to be there:)“

“I visited this restaurant recently in the morning , and I was so impressed by the manager. Even though it was very busy, she greeted everyone with a warm smile and made both the staff and customers feel welcome. When I visited again with my kids, she was just as friendly and engaging with them, which really stood out to me. Yesterday evening, I discovered that this McDonald's has all day breakfast, except they don't serve up their hashbrowns.
I also discovered that their staff can be on the ball, because I no sooner paid for my Egg, Cheese McMuffin and a medium size coffee, one of their cashiers noticed I was over charged, so I was refunded within five minutes of placing my order! Well done McDonald's and thank you! 👏
This McDonald's could be serving me again someday in the future.“

“I've never been to this McDonald's before, but I stopped in for a quick breakfast and instead of ordering at the kiosk I went to the cash and I'm so glad that I did because I had the opportunity to interact with Sylvia. What a joyful and pleasant person to deal with. And they even delivered my breakfast to my table. Again Sylvia did this with a huge smile and a great attitude. I felt really welcome here. I don't usually get that at a fastfood place.“

“Morning crew is awesome, friendly, fast and effective.

Afternoon crew leaves much to be desired. The crew seems like they aren't trained properly and don't even pretend they want to be there, so expect long wait times. Furthermore, the person on drive-thru speaks with the tone of an actual robot which is not very welcoming.“

“I have to change my review for this place from average to absolutely amazing.. the employees are all really really nice and great at their jobs same with all the swing managers, but there's ONE swing manager named Antonio who's absolutely amazing and goes the extra mile with EVERYTHING.. amazing attitude to making and prepping food and drinks all the way from being super friendly to how much ice you want in your pop or ice coffee... And the store manager is an absolute sweetheart as well and always remembers returning customers and gives her location a small town friendly and fast feeling rather than a here and gone give me your money food court feeling... I can't say this for many locations of any fast food restaurant but when coming to this place you get what you pay for from amazing customer service to properly and hygienically prepped food and drinks to emaculatally clean work stations... GREAT JOB GUYS“

“I pulled in here after driving from Trenton. It's probably the best McDonald's I've been to in years. Large parking lot, lots of space inside, fast friendly service, bathroom wasn't locked, lots of condiments available, and they actually accept cash!“

“A few weeks ago I got a full spicy chicken meal to table service and I had it 3 minutes after placing the order. It’s like McDonald’s premium 😍

Today I redeemed a bunch of points and monopoly pieces, and everything was ready so quickly again. This McDonalds staff is awesome 😎“

“I had a really great experience in the night (2 am) at the drive-through. There was only one employee handling everything on his own, and despite how busy it was, he stayed calm, organized, and incredibly kind the entire time. He managed orders, payments, and service without missing a beat, and still took the time to be polite and respectful. It’s not easy doing all of that alone, especially during a rush, but he handled it with professionalism and a positive attitude. People like him truly make a difference—hardworking, patient, and genuinely caring about the customer experience. He deserves recognition for going above and beyond.“

“Overall this McDonald's is alright by my standards but staff need to be more observant about customers coming in with mobile orders through the app. The whole reason of using the app to place an order is to save time. Time is not saved if you see your order sitting there ready but staff don't acknowledge you. Whoever the girl is that works overnights clearly doesn't care about her job. I waited over 5 minutes at the after hours window for an iced coffee that should have been ready when I arrived“

“Service was great, food was clearly very fresh and nice and hot, nothing felt like it had been made and then reheated. Staff took my order and it was ready promptly with no errors. Would definitely go back, can’t ask for anything else really!“

“I had a big Mac, fries, and a sprite the big Mac was probably the best one I've had incredible to be honest the fries you could tell they weren't fresh but the BBQ sauce saved them the sprite has little to none carbonation the reason it's a 4 because ik they can do better because it's usually always fresh fries and high carbonation drinks I would recommend this place the service was fast as always and just so yk the ice cream cones are the best ice cream you will have it will get you addicted to the food and the smell there big as hell Aswell now

Kid-friendliness: Everyone knows they have the happy meal with apple slices chocolate milk if you want a mcflurry they recently made a smaller version

Wheelchair accessibility: There are some slopes to get in but you would need somehelp for the curb altogether I think it's wheelchair friendly“

“It's usually busy during lunch hour or dinner hour, but it's fine but overall I love McDonald's, it has the BEST BAGELS AND FRIES YUM!!. I do miss the play place but it was also dirty so I get why it's gone but love coming here, I'm here everytime I have money and I love eating here“

“Very impressed with how Avo, the manager on duty, handled an issue we had called about several days earlier. I was treated with kindness, understanding and respect and it totally shifted my stance on how I felt about this McDonald’s after our previous experience. Not only did he save four regular customers, but he solidified the relationship stronger than it initially was. This is how you deal with customers. It is win-win for everyone involved.“

“Too be honest im concerned about safety.
I watched an employee spray disinfectant on the serving counter and it sprayed into the cups that were facing the top. Really??? Not safe. I mentioned it to the woman serving what happened and I didn't want my daughter drinking out of it. She literally frowned at me and gave me another cup and looked at me like im a problem. No concern or apologies. McDonald's really lost their smiles long ago“

“Wow! I’m impressed! I ordered yesterday a Big Mac and 10 pieace chicken nugget meal and I have to say everything was perfect! The nuggets were hot and crispy on the outside but tender in the inside. Big Mac was fresh and hot. Sooo yummy! This will now be my good go location although the one Montreal road is closer this location on st Laurent food taste much better. I cannot wait to reorder. I’m craving their chicken nuggets badly. Soo yummy!“
