McDonald's in Gatineau

“Today (2 July 2026) I went to get at meal at the breakfast.. and there’s was this girl that brought my food to the third window and she just like threw the food to me and I ask her nicely to wait only 2 seconds till I do verify if everything was inside (btw hash was missing) and she just left… but then another girl came and I ask her name she told me it was Dana. She was so lovely, nice and listen to me carefully and she ask for forgiveness behalf her team mate so I give 5 stars because of her.. they need more staff like her to be honest and she also offer me something for the bad moment and she brought quick the Hash to me. She was a sweetheart.

I was thinking of not coming back because I was leaving with a bad moment but that girl came as a sweet one and even change my mood.“

“I'm a big fan of superheroes. Before, I believed that the fastest superhero was Flash, I noticed that McDonald's employees are even faster. We arrived at the station to order, immediately after we were able to go forward to pay for our meal, and barely had time to say “Cheeseburger” before we were at the window to receive our order.

And what can we say about the employees themselves: although fatigue is visible in their faces, they still offer us a smile, and make us want to come back. I do want to say though that sometimes the extra bacon gets lost from one order to the next, but can you really blame them? If I took care of that many customers per minute, I too would lose some ends (of bacon).

On this, I conclude by saying that this McDonald's is nice in its simplicity, but that it still offers decent service.“

“Ordered take-out thru the app. Fast and easy given that it was McHappy Day and the restaurant was crowded. Ordered using the app, went inside and my order was ready approx. 15 minutes after, much quicker than people at drive-thru or in restaurant.“

“Employer are fighting about the're brakes and made order mistakes. I tell the first lady about the order mistake and she refuse to fix it because they are overwhelmed. I spoke to a more comptent person behind her just to be told they ran out.“

“A McDonald's in a gas station. It helps, but it's not a McDonald's where I would go to eat there. Often errors when ordering for delivery, drive-thru service leaves something to be desired - we are often told to wait further. All in all, it does the job when you want McDonald's to eat at home!“

“I visited this location several times over that past few months. It's good, and has been consistent. I only used the drive through service. The only drawback is drive through access, that can be tricky off St Louis and requires tight turns once you're in it. Pretty much no parking there either if you want to dine-in. You can access the small restaurant sit-down area from the gas station next to it.“

“No surprises with McDonalds foodwise. This one has a nice play park for kids but a lot of people loiter waiting with suitcases for greyhound buses and leave the tables a mess. The staff seem to have a hard time keeping up with the large amount of seating to keep clean plus garbage cans to empty. Still the staff does their best to help and keep up with demand so seems more like a number of staff issue than a quality of staff issue.“

“So many workers know me by name and it is like being treated like family! The egg mcmuffins in the morning are superb. If you have any problems, they will make it right. I go all the time and nobody minds if I stay for several hours to work!“

Grabbed a quick meal—crispy fries, a warm burger, and a festive hot drink—and found myself enjoying the moment more than expected. Sunlight streamed through the windows, adding a cozy vibe as I watched the world go by. Clean space, fast service, and that familiar McDonald’s comfort. Simple, satisfying, and just right.“

“In summer you have to have a little wool if you stay there to eat. And the employees in the evening are extremely noisy. An adult or more should be on site to manage their employees. It's not a 5-star restaurant, but a certain professionalism would be well received.“

“The guy at the service was probably the best employee I've ever seen work in a McDonald's before. I forgot his name, but man, you should start your restaurant when you grow up! Best service, fast, efficient, good and clear communication, and assisted me to chose the best deal for my money in lightning time. This guy was running everywhere like a champ...he deserves a raise or a promotion.

“Overpriced without coupons but the app usually has something decent to choose from, $2 for McMuffin is well worth it even though Ronald cheaper out and uses processed cheese. Which is fine until you go to their competitors who use real cheese, 5 star since I was starving and now I'm full“

“I recently visited the McDonald’s in Aylmer and had a generally positive experience. The staff was very nice and organized, and the service felt smooth from the moment I walked in. They also have plenty of self‑serve machines, which makes ordering quick and convenient.

However, I noticed that the shelves were completely empty, no muffins, pastries, or other baked items available. I’m not sure why, but it was surprising for a location that’s usually well‑stocked. The station was also missing condiments, including sugar and other essentials, which made it a bit inconvenient for anyone grabbing a coffee.

Overall, the service was good and the team was friendly, but the lack of stocked items and missing condiments definitely stood out. I hope it was just an off day, because the staff themselves were great.“
