The spicy sauce has a wicked kick it was excellent. We appreciated the service and the sense of humor of the chef who took great joy in preparing our food to our liking. “The poutine is good, nothing more. The fries were soggy, cheese in abundance and the brown gravy was okay. The pogos are coated in a homemade dough but not crispy, mine was soft and not too hot. We took advantage of the heated space adjacent to the snack bar, which must have 3 large picnic tables that can accommodate around twenty customers. The service is always good. The line to order, on the sidewalk, was about 12 people and it took 10 minutes.“

“I truly enjoyed the poutine and went back the next day for more. The poutine at La Poutinerie Albert is as authentic as it gets. The potatoes cut fresh and the items are made as ordered. They had plenty of other items on the menu, but I will have to wait until I return next time. Well done!“
“Popular spot by the looks of it, lots of people coming and going as we were there. It’s a walk-up location with parking beside. Enough parking for about 12 vehicles with one accessible spot. Order was quick and correct and staff were friendly. There’s plenty of benches around the parking area to enjoy your dessert.“
“After sitting down at a small table, a booth became available, so we asked a lady staff passing by if we could move. She was not happy and even said out loud to whoever wanted to hear while walking to the booth that she was really fed up with clients changing tables. After we moved, she came back to put utensils. Instead off calling her on her comments, we said thank you for letting us move. She seemed embarrassed by her action but never apologized for her loud comments in from of others. Then came our waitress and other staff to serve us and they were absolutely kind, funny, attentive and great! Maybe the first one was having a bad day!The place has a bar and a restaurant. We had a basic smoked meat and it was good. I was catching up with a long time friend and we stayed 5 hours and never our waitress made us feel like we should leave! Thank you for that!“

“I go there a few times a month and it's delicious when it comes to snacks. It's happened to me once or twice (out of about 15 times) that the fries were undercooked inside so I'd advise the snack bar to watch out for that, but I still leave a 5 stars“
