“There is no need for an explanation for their food and drinks. It’s Starbucks. What you expect what you get. The stand out thing about this spot is that baristas are so nice. They are always polite and friendly. Ambience is also good. Location is great. Recommended for sure.“

No real seats, save for outdoor chairs. Luckily, this Starbucks is in a food court of sorts, so there are a decent amount of seats there.

She was so friendly and I forgot to order oat milk but mentioned while ordering about lactose free milk or oat milk and while she was making my drink she paused to clarify with me if I wanted oat milk!! Ordering is always easy, but what truly sets this location apart is the exceptionally friendly and thoughtful staff. “Most mornings I go to a Starbucks and get my beverage of salted caramel cold brew. I have tried various locations, this location is the only one that can get it right. I believe the barista who makes it in the morning is Iris(?). Sweet lady, she seems to like working there, always smiling. She is the only one that gets the ratio between cold foam and cold brew right. Her cold foam making skills are clutch, makes it perfect every time where she balances the cream and salt perfectly that it tastes similar to ice cream. There was some construction happening outside, but it wasn’t a bother at all, no real noise, and everything inside felt calm. My word the entire team is so proactive and helpful im every way possible. “Ordered a pour over decaf. The coffee was excellent, but it wasn’t hot at all. BUT they went out of their way to try and make it right. First, they gave me a delicious snack (oat bar?) for free, and offered to remake the coffee. So A for effort, but if they just had a microwave, it would have taken care of the problem.“

It’s incredibly convenient and has become my go-to spot for meeting friends or clients, or even just relaxing with a book. The space itself is beautifully designed, spotless, and very welcoming. They have some nice custom drinks by the cash to try out; some of them are a hit or miss for me but I love this Brown Sugar Caramel Macchiato( I typically get it iced). It's become part of my daily drink rotation.

Bonus, they also remember that my mom likes adding salted caramel cold foam to drinks, hot or cold.“

“The staff at this location makes it one of the best Starbucks in the city. I've been coming here for a long time as I have lived/worked in the south end for many years. I've always found the staff extra friendly here and the present staff are definitely the best group they've had working here in a long time. One of my favourite baristas is Jason who is always welcoming, friendly, and takes the time to say hi, ask about your day, and just super down to earth and personable--and he always has a smile! If he's not already a manager, I'd be very surprised. From my restaurant industry experience, I know customer service can be challenging at times especially during busy/stressful times, and you end up with impatient or unhappy costumers. SO Kudos to Jason for his amazing service, no matter how busy this place gets.
I also really like Rana and Kristianna (hope I spelled their names correctly!!), as they are very kind and friendly, and chat with everyone. I love the atmosphere here too as they are a lot of regulars and it sometimes feels like a small community hub. All in all, one of the best Starbucks in Ottawa and absolutely amazing staff!!!“

“During afternnon class time (because this is a campus location) it was difficult to find anywhere to sit. I get it, people need a coffee after attending lectures. Line up sometimes. Mealplan cards may be used here at this location so it could be very busy. Otherwise fine“

My drink was hot and made perfectly, the gift card was easily acquired, and Rain was pleasant, quick, and an absolute delight to deal with. “Great place to stop for a coffee or to have a chat with a friend. Right by the mall as well and some hotels and just off the highway. So whether you’re out shopping or just passing by on the highway, this is a great stop. The Starbucks also has a drive-through which is kinda nice so you don’t even have to get out. But if you do go in, it’s nicely decorated inside and has good sitting areas. Check out one of my pictures as it has this almost enclosed sitting area with a bit more privacy.“

“I was here at 9:30am on a Saturday, so it was understandably not super busy, but the staff kept the line moving QUICKLY. There was one employee here, a taller guy with blonde hair, whose name I wish I caught - he was so nice to everyone, super personable, super quick, 10/10. Also, post-renovations, this is a lovely place to sit for a bit waiting for your flight. There's long booth-style benches as well as small cafe tables, lots of power plugs, everything you could hope for from a Starbucks in general and especially at an airport. I could see the lines getting a little long, since it is an airport with business rush hours, but when I was here it was calm and efficient.“

“I think all the baristas remember me lol, which I think is a boon. They are all pretty nice. One lady-- I think her name is Renee? -- always asks me if I need water, or need my water bottle refilled.

Another lady... I am so sorry I can't remember the name, but she has glasses, is blondish? Has a fuller figure and is tall?
She's really fun to talk to, amidst the workload

ALSO! They are very patient and generous - sometimes my mom will not fully understand what she ordered, or some miscommunication happened in between the ordering process, or even a bad accident happened and I or my mom spill a drink almost immediately after receiving it, and the baristas are so willing and generous to make a new drink, and let us keep the old drink.
Needless to say, the staff here is great and I'm so happy about their service.

Can be cramped and slow(the baristas are going hard, working on multiple drinks from in-store orders and mobile orders).
Being one of the busiest Starbucks, this is to be expected. Just plan around your time constraints, or head elsewhere. Not worth the 10+ minutes if you need to run somewhere. At the very least, there shouldn't be much inaccuracies on what you order.

Starbucks food + drink is as expected. Food is pretty plain. Coffee tastes pretty nice, and the extra add-ons- whether cold foam, rock sugar toppings - are very nice. I find they are adequately portioned.“

Chiggy is consistently kind, professional, and radiates positivity.
