“This is the best pub and patio in Ottawa, bar none (no pun intended). it is the quintessential neighbourhood pub. The staff is generally friendly and courteous. If I have a quibble, it is that their menu is very limited. After a few visits, not much choice left. We are promised a new menu. but so far nothing. A shame.“
“I recently went to the Elgin beer project on a warm Saturday night.It was the only place that I could find with a nice patio that wasn’t surrounded by girls in crop tops and guys with backwards baseball hats, so I felt safe:)The selection of beers was fun and the Chef did an exquisite job at accommodating our culinary needs ? and for that I am thankful.But I am here to talk about the waitress. If I recall well, her name was Megs. She was alone and was serving a full patio and there were people inside to.She was unbelievable! It was like watching the girl from the video game Diner Dash. So props to Megan and her great skills. May you take it easy and get some rest girl;)“

“Awesome. Bartenders server and manager who accomdiat3d us on a Saturday might for 14 people then last minute we added 5 more and he still arranged a table for us. Bartender suggested beers were all great ... had a 1664 with a shot of friuli awesome suggestion.“
“Delicious!! Knowledgeable, friendly staff took care of our every need. The Guiness braised beef was cooked to perfection. My friends had the Rustica Pasta and said it was amazing. Cheesecake and donut bites were decadent. We will definitely be back. Thanks so much for a great night.“
