“We went this morning, on May 20th for our 48th wedding anniversary brunch. The food was incredible, the best we ever ate for breakfast. The waitress was excellent, so attentive and we were treated with a poached pear for our anniversary dessert. The food is exceptional, a must if you are in Ottawa in the Byward Market area.“

“Although I don’t normally give 5-stars, the catch is a conference hotel lobby restaurant that wasn’t too overpriced. I only had the butter chicken which was really enjoyable, maybe a touch bland, again for the spot. Angelica was an excellent host and the food came out fast. Good experience overall.“

“Always love the Apothecary and it’s beautiful decor, not to mention Brent, our most favourite bartender…great guy and mixologist. The rooftop is awesome with a super vibe, good music and view, always a treat! Highly recommend this place, cheers! ❤️“

Confederation park has so much potential! I used to do music festivals here. It is such a vibrant location and great downtown location. It has been underutilized for years, so it is great to see more attractions and new landmarks in the area.“

“Had dinner with a friend a couple of days ago and had an overall good experience but there was room for improvement. I ordered the coquilles st jacques. While the scallops were cooked well the purée lacked flavour.. missing that hit of cheese. I had to use some lemon to liven the dish a bit. My friend had the streak frites, medium rare that came rare. We had the kitchen bring to temp. I had a bite and it was tender and flavourful. I will return to try more from the menu and see how it goes. A great place either way for atmosphere and drinks.“

“Don't sleep on their doughnuts! There are some great doughnut choices in Ottawa but my favourite ones are the ones they sell here, at their storefront. They have lots of options with many yeast-style, and I find alongside the regular flavours, they change it up depending on the season.“
