The pastries and bread were excellent; however, my experience with the staff was disappointing. Throughout my visit, I felt a general lack of kindness from the employees, which culminated in the cashier misgendering me after I had paid. This incident made it clear that their behavior may have been rooted in transphobia. Such attitudes are unacceptable in any workplace, and I hope the business takes this feedback seriously to ensure all customers are treated with respect and receive...read full review
Great service first and foremost. The coffee was amazing, the pastries even better. Wonderful spot close to Parliament Hill.
This was my experience today at Moulin in the park. I still can’t believe you would serve this to a customer.🤯🤮

Le Moulin de Provence KD METCALFE & QUEEN offers a selection of simple sandwiches, described as fine but not particularly impressive. The menu has limited choices for vegetarians, and the side salads remain unremarkable. Prices are considered high for the quality of food, with reviews stating that while some sandwiches, like the salmon one, taste good, others, such as the bacon egg sandwich, are bland. Pastries like croissants and almond chocolate croissants are decent, although some find the sweetness too strong. Recent visitors mentioned that the chocolate croissant had little chocolate filling and was quite large. The interior could use a bit of an update, as the wobbly table by the window and the old entrance carpet suggest a need for renovation. Regular cleaning would also enhance the experience, with some customers noting that trash isn’t always removed and the space could be tidier. Despite these issues, the pastries and coffee are reported to be decent, with some enjoying the London Fog and others appreciating the drinks like lemon iced tea and caramel latte. The service remains friendly, and the employees are lovely. The lively atmosphere, especially on weekends with loud music and children, can be noisy, making it less ideal for quiet work or study. Overall, Le Moulin de Provence is an average place, with better options available for those seeking a calm environment.
