“AMAZING WEDDING CATERING! We are just back from our honeymoon in Nassau, and as we organize our new lives as Mr and Mrs, we can't stop talking about what the Royals Restaurant did at our wedding. That evening, the chatter was surely talking about the food. And guests are still talking about it. The meals were outstanding. The Pesto Chicken with Roasted Red Peppers & Goat Cheese, the Roasted Sirloin with Yorkshire Pudding, the hors d'oeuvres, just to recap a few.... were thoroughly enjoyed. With Chef Derrick carving the beef, he definitely finished off the buffet line in style. Plates were full, and then enjoyed by each guest. The flavours were simply succulent. But it was not just about the food. Melissa and Lindsay were at the venue far before the guests arrived. The place settings were precisely arranged ensuring that everything was lined up. The stemware and cutlery were perfect. Their management of the setup was amazing. The staff supported all the guests so professionally. A big thank you to Melanie, for operating the bar with class. To all the staff in the background, our sincere thank you as well. “I’ve been here for brunch twice lately. It’s got a great vibe and the staff are so kind; our waitress, Yeganeh, was amazing and lovely to chat with.

The food is fresh and tasty, but the portions don’t always match the price. The Menemen and farmers breakfast skillet were small in portion. I'm petite and even ordering extra bread didn't fill me up with the Menmem.
I’ll definitely go back, but I’ll be pickier about what I order. The beef hummus is delicious and worth it, and the bennies or cilbir are probably better choices, just watch out for the super spicy potatoes in the cilbir.“

“This was my first time here. I was pleasantly surprised. The view of the lake was relaxing. Inside the establishment, it was clean and tidy with tasty food and I was served in a friendly and attentive manner. I ordered a Western omelet which came as a sandwich with round house fries included. I also asked for baked beans and some more toast on the side. Yum! The coffee was really good as well. I will be back soon to enjoy breakfast. They also have plenty of lunch items served closer to noon. I hope more people will go and check out this really nice place.

On our last day at The Westin, we had to leave at 6 AM to catch our train to Quebec and couldn’t enjoy the included breakfast buffet. “Many better breakfast places sorry. crepes were rubbery and I was definitely shocked when they served American pancake syrup... which is just corn syrup basically. we are in Canada!!! how can a breakfast place in the capital of the country nor serve maple syrup with crepes or pancakes!!!? when asked they said they could get some but it would be about $5 with tax. I do wish that there was a way to reduce noise... I found it very echo-ey. It made it hard to hear my friend at the same table once it got a little busy.

“This is a great breakfast place. Right on Bank Street. Their food items are decent quality, decent taste and decent portion sizes. What you get justifies what you pay for. I loved the decor and the interiors and just how the whole place is set up. My favorite thing was the service. When we went there, it was a weekday lunch hour. They had a single server. The guy really put in an effor, took care of everyone and every chatted guests up - offering tourists there helpful advice. That was just great. I don't remember that guy's name but he had something of a limp. Great guy!“
