Went for a romantic dinner with the wife tonight and have never eaten here before. We were lucky and found a parking spot directly in front of the place on the street. There is a paid parking lot right next door as well and there was lots of room there.The space is pleasant and hipsterish, with eclectic, slightly too-loud music that was slightly distracting. I recently hosted a milestone birthday for my husband at Arlo in 'The Apartment' and could not have been happier with the experience. We love Arlo and have dined there as a couple or with friends many times, but this was our first event there. Everything was seamless - Emily was organized and easy to deal with when it came to planning, and the entire staff executing the event did a phenomenal job. One of my favourite places in Ottawa. Great food, and some of the best wine you'll find in the city. Friendly and knowledgable staff too. Try the orange wine, the oysters, the char... It's all good. A little pricey but well worth it if you feel like splurging a bit.
