“Majid our waiter was super nice, efficient and the food was brought to our table in a very coordinated well (hummus and babaghanoug and the salad before the grillades). We didn’t feel at any point that we were missing something at the table and he was very generous and courteous“

“It's the only spot in Ottawa where you can get 'kumpir.' Menu prices are fair. They have free parking, and the staff are super nice. They even kept my food warm in the oven until I got there, which shows they really care. You should check it out.“

“Certainly amongst the best Turquish restaurant in Ottawa even if the place is modest and simple but greatly clean, well ordered and with owner couple top class. Menu with a large amount of different delicious choices. The review made by Ottawa Citizen one month after their opening is still very actual and totally worth the large amount of kudos received. Bravo to the very gentle owner's couple. The food is great and reminded us our meal taken in Kusadasi few years ago. We are going to use this spot on a very regular basis for sure.“

“Omg - it was sooo good! Many of you know that I have spent about 9 months in Turkey since 2020 & really loved the food.
Well, I found (thank you David) the best place, and the fully renovated no longer clock tower pub now the Sultan Ahmet Turkish Cuisine Resto!
Lunch style 'table d' hote' with soup, main & desert for $25.... And I took alot home!! So I had the lentil soup (one of the best I have ever had), the beef iskendar kabap lunch portion & pistachio baklava! Which was more than enough for leftovers. AND got to try the mix mezze plate (with Ezme, Baba Ganoush, Hummus & Cacik) & bread!
And great service.. Had Abdulla, the manager serve me...Sweet, adorable & professional!!
Looking forward to trying the Lahmacun & pide & kunefe next time... WHOSE coming with me next time?“

“We went out for lunch, location is easy to find and plenty of parking. What I liked about the place is it's got lots of seating and right at the entrance you will see happy faces greeting you, taking you the table. In few minutes Turkish bread with yoghurt dip and tomato dip arrives. Since it's our first time we told them we did not know what to order, he brought visuals of the menu and helped us pick the platter.
The platter arrived with meet kebabs. Beef Shami kebab. Chicken charcoal roast, meet roast, burghul, and Turkish flat bread. The taste was filled with mild ingredients and the food had great aroma. The food melts in your mouth. Never eaten such flavours, it's not spicy. On the side to drink we ordered yogurt salt lassi. Anyone can eat. We packed lots of it as the quantity was generous. We ended our lunch with Turkish tea.“

“Best shawarma in this end of town, hands down. The beef is my go to because it tastes like proper roast beef, not too salty and perfectly cooked to melt in your mouth. The potatoes are always perfect too! I had a particularly pleasant experience tonight chatting with the man who was on cash. I wish I had got his name so I could shout him out, but I went in around 6:50 January 8th and it was the gentleman on cash who did such a spectacular job.“

“The prices are very reasonable, and the customer service is just as impressive. The staff were friendly, attentive, and made the whole experience enjoyable. The food really stands out—the kebabs, pide, lahmacun, and grilled meats were all fresh, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. You can tell there’s real care put into the quality of the dishes. The only area that could use some improvement is the dessert selection, which felt a bit limited compared to how strong the main menu is. Overall, it was a great Turkish dining experience, and I would definitely recommend it“
