We had a wonderful experience at this place when we visited Ottawa for the weekend and took my brother out for dinner. We didn't know that it closed at 9pm because when we arrived the place was so lively and busy. They promptly sat us and brought us drinks. The staff is very friendly and the server is very courteous. The portions are very big, however the food is pretty bland. Also if anyone in the restaurant gets q sizzling plate with pepper in it, the pepper will get in the air and make everyone cough and sneeze. The owner does nothing to address this issue.

I've been going there for 18 years and what has impressed me the most is their consistent excellence. I've never had a bad meal, and their service has always been attentive and helpful. While they were closed for dine in service, it's always an anticipated pleasure to order take out. And the portions set us up for several meals after. It's an easy sell for the kid too who has come to discover Chinese food that doesn't involve chicken balls.
