We had a wonderful experience at this place when we visited Ottawa for the weekend and took my brother out for dinner. We didn't know that it closed at 9pm because when we arrived the place was so lively and busy. They promptly sat us and brought us drinks. We ended up ordering 5 dishes to share and everything tasted amazing. It was fresh and flavourful. We noticed the restaurant was cleaning out and they were closing for the evening but they did not rush us to leave and asked us to enjoy. The hospitality was great, we'd definitely go back.

The staff is very friendly and the server is very courteous. The portions are very big, however the food is pretty bland. Also if anyone in the restaurant gets q sizzling plate with pepper in it, the pepper will get in the air and make everyone cough and sneeze. The owner does nothing to address this issue.

Pictures are enough.This is sweet and sour fried chicken. Very artificial red sauce with saggy chicken and bad taste.The other dish is stir fried beef noodles with oyster sauce. First the lady said we don't put oyster sauce although the menu says oyster sauce. Then when I complained she returned back the dish and returned the same and added some oyster.We had lunch afterwards in another restaurant. This experience was the worst.

Great food, and very helpful staff at this family run restaurant. Extremely generous portions and the food was served piping hot and quickly. Fantastic spring rolls, and the Singapore noodles were a delight. The small hot & sour soup was delicious and enough to feed two, and the beef dish with mushroom and bamboo shoots was equally tasty. We'll definitely be back to sample more dishes.

If you can read Chinese, please don't come to this restaurant to eat. Today is because Yangzi is full and you have to wait for a table to try this restaurant. Let's talk about the food first. The dry-fried beef river is wet and the middle is not cooked. The beef brisket and the yuba are not there. The cooked beef brisket has no flavor at all. The sizzling eggplant is crispy. Do you know why? Because it is burnt and bitter. To be honest, it is for foreigners. But there is a saying that the brisket is really big. If it is cooked well, it will taste good. The service is very good.
