Well the service was great the view was nice to watch the horse races, but the food was overpriced for the small portions and didn't taste good. The brochuetta and wine was the only thing I liked about my meal the lasagna was super sweet and the ravioli was only 4 small ones In a bowl for like 24$ we won't go back for dinner just for apps and drinks.

The cannolis dessert is so good except too little strawberries n berries. A little bit more will be perfect. The main courses so delicious! The chefs should be at Casino Lac Leamy. They lack Michelin star chefs at Lac Leamy. Cheers to the chefs at Caffe Italiano.👍👍👍

The food was the best part, everything else was not ideal. The noise level was that of a sports bar, it was difficult to have any kind of conversation and the prices for the food are definitely more on par with a nice restaurant where you could have quiet conversation. The service was extremely lacking, the poor server had far too many tables to serve them properly. It was our first visit and it will be the last, not impressed at all and that is disappointing because we were looking forward to our night out.
Service and food were excellent but we weren't expecting the noise level....but a great place if you want to bet on the horses while you eat. A bit pricey but I guess that is the norm now.
The food and the portions suck. I’ve been here twice now and both groups I went with left disappointed and still hungry. I had the ravioli the first time and it’s nothing specular. At least they upped their portion from 5 to 7 pieces for the person that ordered it this time. The second time I went with the cappellacci. My seafood was undercooked and I caught 2 lobster shells in it (They offered me a drink for that but I don’t drink). There were also only 5 small cappellacci. Portion was so small that I was asked if I had even received my plate because it was gone when they had just finished serving.
From a taste perspective, they’re trying to be fancy but failing at it and would do better sticking to the classics. Our group tried oysters, lasagna, chicken marsala, butcher’s cut, etc. Noone liked their plate.
Also, beware of going with a small group (8 in our case) as they charge you a 18.5% tip automatically.

Great service, excellent food. I had the Chicken Marsala and substituted the angel hair pasta for a Cesar salad. Hubby had the lasagna. Our friends had the mussels and a pasta dish. Nothing left on any of our plates. We will definitely visit Cafe Italiano in the future.
The food was amazing. You start out with bread (think it was sun dried tomato and rosemary but aren’t sure) and some oil with sun dried tomatoes to dip. The bread was warm and amazing tasting. We ordered the calimari to start. Then shared the chicken Marsala and special of Alfredo. Could not decide which was better because they were both amazing tasting. We ended with the canola that you build yourself. The atmosphere was really good. Noise level was fine as there wasn’t many people there. Can’t comment on the noise level with full capacity. We will go back. Only drawback is the limited menu. Not sure how often we will go based on that but it was a great meal for sure. 1 app, 2 meals, 1 dessert and 2 non alcoholic drinks for $125 (tip and tax included)

There are no Italians working in this kitchen. Pizza Pizza is more authentic. EVOO drowned all dishes except the inedible calamari.

My dinner guests and I had the chicken marsala and lasagna. Although the chicken was moist and tender the capellini aglio e olio had such a raw garlic flavour that it overpowered the taste of the marsala and sundried tomato sauce. The lasagna was overcooked. The focaccia bread was very good and fresh. The service was attentive and efficient.

We had the brunch for $30/person and it was very good. Considering some places start at $20 for just breakfast, this was a good value for what you got. One of us had the steak, and it was on the tough side, but besides that everything was very tasty. The service was great and we felt like valued guests. It was a quiet atmosphere which was nice, as you sometimes need to get away from the casino floor noises etc. Definitely recommend.
Food was excellent as was the service. Server was curteous and friendly. Disappointed that no speakers are provided to hear play by play of races .. Unable to know about change in drivers, etc.
Had many family celebrations and they made our night! Fantastic service and food was delicious. Thank you for a wonderful evening.
