Came for a late night treat & we loved everything we got. I tried the earl grey crepe cake and it was very good — Not too sweet or heavy.
I also tried the pumpkin cheesecake latte and enjoyed it aswell.

We bought desserts/birthday cakes from dao a few times are ready. Every time we get some, we enjoyed it and we also say it’s expensive. We bought five small cakes and it was around $50. Most of them were good. The only thing was when you’re taking the plastic wrap thing off of a few of them, it takes a whole layer of whipping cream with it. I’m not sure if you can do anything about it. I don’t think it’ll be the last time we’ll buy stuff from dao only because I’m not really sure what other bakeries there are that I could buy decent cakes other than grocery stores. maybe I should do my research.

I have visited this location several times, and the drinks are quite excellent, but the prices are somewhat excessive. The filling in my milk bun dessert was somewhat off or expired. The seating arrangement is rather uncomfortable.

Went with a group of friends, the place is spacious and welcoming. I ordered a cap and it was quite good. They have a large selection of desserts and salty sandwiches and croissants. The place is enjoyable. The staff did a good job but could smile a little more lol

A nice place to drink coffee, tea, or refreshers. They also have a good selection of bakery. Everything we tried was tasty and the staff was efficient and friendly.
I went on a Friday night and there were many customers, but the 4 people behind the counter were more than enough and efficient!
I found it pricey. Still I’d go back occasionally.
I didn’t like the tables lined up next to the window. They're not comfortable if you're with someone else and people are walking past in front of you all the time.

Went there on a Tuesday afternoon to get a couple of bubble tea and pastries. Only two ladies working that day, one at Tealive making bubble tea and one at DAO making coffee, toast or getting patries for the customer.
I wasn't in a rush, so no issue waiting for drinks and desserts. The bubble tea are good, the tea leaves used for the bubble tea are premium compared to other places.

I have been a few times this is the second time I get a stale croissant, not sure if it's because it's Sunday but very disappointing considering the price point. Both times It was to go, so to late once I got home. Also my strawberry croissant had some spicy sauce on it. I am assuming cross contamination. It also doesn't help that the staff was not very warm or welcoming.

They changed all recipes to drinks and somehow increased the prices. Tastes nothing like it used to 2 months ago! Eveything is so much less quality now
The Espresso is 45 percent more than it costs at other common places to go to. And that's before the tip
They try to justify the high rates with the pretentious displays of food that are all aged and you can see bugs flying around so clearly the displays must be just for display. But then why not seal it airtight so no bugs get in there?
I'd rather pay less for the product at one of the two main coffee places that connect with their clients.

It's a cute cafe for a quick sweet craving fix in ottawa. Loved the ambiance and the customer service is quite splendid. Not to mention the Ferrero mousse cake was to die for.
