Head’s up - there is no signage indicating it, but the taproom is not dog friendly and no outside food is allowed.
My wife, baby, dog and I were notified after sitting down and having our first few sips, at which point we had no choice but to leave. I guess they have roller hotdogs available but this isn’t stated on their website or on their menu. I love going to breweries with my family as they are typically friendly, welcoming places.
However, this experience did not leave us feeling that way.

Absolutely lovely staff!! I had the best time at their Oktoberfest! Unfortunately there were no radlers but they offered me a good alternative!

I've had the great pleasure of being a fan of Dominion City Brewing for years now. What's sets these fine folks apart is not just excellent, and FUN craft beer releases, but the people behind it. They are wonderful.

Every visit to the taproom or community event I've attended is always in great company. Their seasonal releases, brewery collaborations, and awesome merch are backed with a ton of goodness. There's always a little something for everyone.

I take a BIG pleasure in being a regular part of their "Book Club" as well, and the discussions and people I've met have added a lot to my regular social calendar - something I look forward to each month!

My Friday nights just ain't right without a great brew from Dominion City ?☮️

So amazing it feels like home. - update 5 years later and this brewery is amazing for kids. Thanks for all the colouring supplies and stickers!! Totally accessible from the bike paths too! Love this brewery

Love the crafts here. I am not usually a craft kinda person. But I very much enjoy these. Great atmosphere and good people

Ok location but super slow service and pricey. Wasn't busy at all but took forever. We ordered one braised beef french fry and 2 lemonades (which were served in small whiskey glasses no ice) and this came to $20!!!!

I came back to modify my review from 3 to 4 stars. The braised beef french fry was spectacular but took a long time to make.

I moved to Ottawa recently and I must say that Dominion brews maybe the best beer in the region. Well hopped, in style. They do collaborations with breweries like Messorem, which means that they are professionals and have an outstanding taste!

I am drikinking only their beer and if you guys are looking for a great beer, I mean GREAT BEER in style - Dominion is your choice!

Support them and buy their beer! After their beer the morning is really good! Believe me! Cheers!

Love this place as our go to brewery/bar. from the collab food options like the BBQ and Firebox Pizza to the events like trivia and run club, it feels like an awesome community spot that also happens to have a very good and diverse range of stellar beers! always look forward to the seasonal beers. I previously fell in love with the Mango sour, and now the Picnic basket is my current muse.

Love the beer variety, location and music but would like to see more engagement with staff, knowledge of product, suggestions etc. Was there on a Wednesday evening.

Went last night, cute place. The service though- they looked super uninterested in being there and wouldn’t really engage at all when we asked questions. Would go back solely due to it being next to my kids field during soccer- out of convenience

Great beer selection for having there and takeaway! Their popcorn is delicious. I think the focaccia is too, but mostly because I always want it after my run group finishes our run there. I get hungry after a run so maybe use your own judgement. But the beer is certainly yummy! Especially if you like IPAs

Worth the drive to the other side of town. Great offerings, it's become a must visit any time I'm in Ottawa. Knowledgeable staff and it's handy to have a tasty bakery next door.
