I've left a review here before but it's conveniently missing. Happy Lam used to be good but not any more. While the food is satisfactory the portions, especially the egg rolls, have diminished while prices have gone up. The egg rolls are about 2/3 the size they used to be and the insides were almost non-existent. Won't be ordering from there anymore. Chinese food is way overpriced to begin with considering what you get.

Happy Lam Restaurant is the go-to spot for Chinese food lovers in Ottawa. The portions are generous and reasonably priced, with excellent quality and taste. While more suitable for takeout, the dining area is clean. The breaded shrimp and lemon chicken are standout dishes, although the beef and broccoli lacked flavor. Despite missing complimentary white rice, it's still a top choice for a satisfying meal.
