Ordered dinner for 3 for pickup. The wait time that was given was accurate. Upon entering the building, you are hit with a musty smell and an outdated dining room. Opening up food at home found the chicken balls to be soggy as they dont package sauce separately. Other than that, the food wasn't bad.

I hadn't been here in a very long time. Probably 30 years at least. Their egg rolls are phenomenal. They put up a fight with Five Star in Kemptville. Their chicken egg foo young challenges that at Silver Dragon. I will definitely be back again, disappointed it took me this long.

Food is hit or miss it is either really great or lack luster, the promise time of ordered food is never right,if you hear 15-20 minutes .....good luck as it will be 30 minutes to an hour. They need to be consistent with the food and the food order promise time.

I got an order today. Two # 2 with egg rolls. The food was terrible. Chicken fried rice had bones in it and meat was grizzly and very little chicken. Chicken balls were hard even hard to cut into. Egg rolls were overdone.
We have been ordering from here for a long time and this was worst I ever had. It looks like ownership has changed and quality of food is on the decline.

I've left a review here before but it's conveniently missing. Happy Lam used to be good but not any more. While the food is satisfactory the portions, especially the egg rolls, have diminished while prices have gone up. The egg rolls are about 2/3 the size they used to be and the insides were almost non-existent. Won't be ordering from there anymore. Chinese food is way overpriced to begin with considering what you get.

We have ordered from here for years and we have noticed the quality going downhill. We ordered on Saturday. The food was very bland. Triple delight had no flavor.....neither did the fried beef dish. Other than then noodles, you couldn't tell them apart. Garlic Spare ribs were good and so was the chicken fried rice. Egg rolls were meh. Definitely not worth $90.00.

Surprisingly the dishes don’t come with steamed rice (commonly offered by other Chinese food takeout places). The food volume is less. The beef dish has very few pieces of beef but mostly onions and carrots only. Very disappointed for the 1st order and will not order again!
