Absolutely unacceptable experience. I placed my order at 12:30 AM, waited for over an hour, and then out of nowhere they cancelled the order. No proper explanation, no apology, nothing. Just wasted my time and left me hanging late at night after I had already been waiting patiently.
If you can’t handle orders or don’t plan on fulfilling them, then don’t accept them in the first place. Cancelling after making a customer wait that long is beyond disrespectful. People order late at night because they’re hungry and counting on you — not to be ignored and brushed off.
This shows a complete lack of professionalism and zero respect for customers’ time. I could have ordered elsewhere, but instead I trusted this place and ended up with nothing. Extremely frustrating and disappointing.
Never ordering from here again, and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone unless you enjoy having your time wasted.
Hey so you guys got the best chole bhature. Taste same like india. Ordered more than 20 times now lol its definitely the best.

I frequently order from Host India on Uber Eats, and the food is always consistently delicious. The Aloo Saag is a standout for me — it’s a dish I’ve had a hard time finding elsewhere in our city, and theirs is excellent.
The butter chicken is rich and flavourful, the chicken tikka is delicious, and the garlic naan is great. Everything arrives fresh and satisfying every time.
Highly recommend!

On 2025 Christmas Eve we visited this restaurant. After a few minutes of wait a lady greeted us. When we said we have a reservation for four she showed us some seats which we asked if we could change. I showed her another side and requested if we could be seated there but she said it is reserved. So we agreed to go where she took us to sit. Even after 1.5 hours no one ever showed up and the restaurant was about to close. I wasn’t sure why she lied. Secondly before finishing the food she cleared the plates that still had some food. Without checking with us she took them away. And after bringing the bill she didn’t provide the privacy one needs. It felt like she was waiting to see how much we tip her. The management should instruct waiters to follow certain etiquette. Food was good but without a good customer service I would hesitate to go to a place like that.

Ordered butter chicken last night and it literally tasted like they dumped a ton of sugar into it. We barely ate any of it because of how sweet it was. Huge lover of Indian food but no idea why they feel like they need to add sugar to their dishes. Naan was good atleast.
Ordered take out here recently and it was not very good. Naan bread was very oily. Lamb Korma came with almost no meat and a lot of fat on the meat that was in there. Deep fried shrimp was also very greasy.

If I had one last meal on this Earth, it would be their Butter Chicken Poutine with a Beef Samosa

The service is fantastic and the food is flavorful and tasty. So why am I only giving a 3-star review? We have ordered several times over the past couple of years, and the latest times we have gone the amount of actual meat in the dishes is about half of what you get from other places. It is a huge shame when you pay a lot of money, get fantastic tasting food, and all you have for leftovers is sauce to mix with rice or something. The last time we went to Host India all the meat was gone during the first round so I bought a chicken from the supermarket the next morning to pull off the meat and toss it into the sauces for lunch. It is really good and they clearly know what they are doing, but the value just isn't there.

We love Host India! It is our favourite neighbourhood restaurant - the South Asian comfort food is always delicious and consistent. We visit 6-8 times per year. Our favourite dish, the Punjabi Thali with Butter Chicken, is terrific value for money and always leaves enough for lunch the next day. The garlic naan is to die for!

The food was pretty good, flavorful and nicely cooked, especially the garlic naan. However, the table felt a bit greasy, which affected the overall experience slightly. Still worth a visit for the food!

I keep coming back to this location for its amazing butter chicken lunch to go option.
The portions are great, the flavour is amazing, all in all just an awesome dining experience.
Highly recommend if you are looking for some decently priced and incredibly tasteful Indian food.
