The service was very good. The woman who took my order wore latex gloves to make notes, use the computer screen, use the debit/credit machine, then went back to work in the kitchen. Not changing gloves. She came out again to answer the phone and take new orders, then back into the kitchen. I asked if she handles food in the kitchen while wearing the same gloves. She said no. I wasn’t convinced. The staff are very friendly. The cleanliness of the store is very poor. Overall the food was not good. Very greasey. First and last visit. Thank you, Ray

The Chinese food was the worst I have ever eaten. It was a horrible mess. My spring roll was pure grease i had to spit it out. Even the rice was terrible, mushie, and had a funny taste. The General Tao chicken was disgusting, dried up old chicken pieces in a brown sauce....and not spicy. Will never order from Lucky King On Cadboro again. We ended up throwing 3/4 of the food in the garbage and paid 50$ for garbage. Very disappointed and hungry.

Take out tonite was awful . Could not cut soo guy and chicken was so dry and chewy, the chicken fried rice was black. Total bill a little over $68. Will be our last time. Called and talked to manager and all she could say that they sold 14 soo guy today, well I don’t really care how many but mine was horrible it now sits in food recycling.

This a take out restaurant that I have ordered from since 2002.This week the girls and I decided to eat in rather than go out and I provided the home made desserts.Some of my friends order from there as they live around my area.Some come from the East end and others from the West end.They know the place as we always order from there. I have been meaning to write a review for a long time.The food is always fresh and tasty,the egg rolls are great and the service is always great.Very polite and friendly reception and delivery.!!!
Shrimp and Shanghai noodles saved the meal. Asked for one dish to be not spicy, it was very spicy. The rice was so dry, and didn't like the sauces, egg roll and sweet and sour. Both very little taste. Shop looks very rough. Good parking. Don't think we will try them again.

Great food, decent prices, excellent service minus .5 of a star for the filling inside the open ended egg rolls. I've had better egg rolls at a few other places but tbh they're still 8/10 very edible lol ok I'm picky about my egg rolls and this place had better beef and broccoli+ alot better chicken Chow Mein so all things considered money well spent for a family of happy bellies
Woooow! The food was just tooo good! As soon as I open the bag I could just smell how amazing the food is. Wow my 1st bite of the fried chicken I was so in love. I never had friend chicken as good. As I'm eatting the fried chicken, I wonder how did they make it this good. I am so happy I gave this restaurant a try. Also the people who were working there all greeted me with a smile. How wonderful ❤️ I will be ordering from this restaurant at least 2x a month. Food is fantastic. I also ordered lunch special sweet and sour chicken balls which was cooked to perfection, it came with fried rice and an egg roll! It was a great pleasure.
