Absolutely horrible experience. Would never order from Milano Pizzeria again.
I don’t usually leave bad reviews, but this was hands down one of the worst meals I’ve ever had. First, the food arrived cold and almost 40 minutes late. The pizza was greasy, undercooked, and barely had any toppings—like they forgot what “cheese” and “sauce” are. The crust was soggy in the middle and rock hard on the edges.
I also ordered poutine, but it was a total disaster. The fries were limp and soaked in some watery, tasteless gravy with the wrong kind of cheese. It looked like something scraped off a cafeteria tray.
To make it worse, I called to complain and the person on the phone was extremely rude—no apology, no solution, just attitude. I threw most of the food in the garbage because it was honestly not edible. Complete waste of money.
Save yourself the regret and skip this place.

Service extremely rude tonight. Ordered 3 toppings got charged for 6 because apparently I do not understand their menu. The rude person wanted me to wait another 20 minutes so he could redo what I requested the first time.

Went for a slice at lunch (12:30pm)... As you can see from the picture it looked and tasted like it was cooked hours before. It was reheated in the oven and they didn't even melt the cheese. The staff member was friendly enough, but there was no line and this is what I was served. Would not recommend.

My review has nothing to do with this restaurant directly. This review is for Milanos in general. I tried to write a complaint on their website, but conviently it does not work. I made my order online and selected my town. Went to pick up my order and found out it was placed at a milanos in another city. The staff at the Smiths Falls milanos told me this happens a lot. I will never order from milanos again.

Ordered pizza on skip my order was missing drinks and a poutine called the store they said they gave the drinks and poutine to the driver I asked them to deliver they refused and the phone person was angry

We’ve been ordering from this establishment for around 4 years now and they’re always delivering great pizza and wings with awesome delivery people, it’s our favourite pizza joint and have never had a bad delivery driver. Service with a smile. Plus their garlic dip is fantastic

I frequent this location a lot since I live close by, but the owner and their staff do a really great job of making sure my orders are always exactly what I asked for and made to a high degree of quality. I’ve tried most things on the menu by this point. The pizza is fantastic, similar to other Ottawa style pizza places although I find it less greasy than Gabriel’s. Their house garlic dips are also very good.
Although the pizza is great, the platters and subs are worth trying as well. A large donair or bacon cheeseburger platter has never left me hungry, and this location also uses really good fries. The poutines I’ve ordered here rival food trucks I’ve ordered at downtown but the price is very reasonable.
If you’re in the area and looking for a great reliable place to grab a meal, I highly recommend this Milano’s. I’ll see if I can add some photos to this review later but I usually eat my food before I think to take a picture!
Dietary restrictions: One member of my household has a dairy intolerance but the vegan cheese here is decent. I’ve also asked for customizations to orders to remove dairy products and the staff have always made sure to follow those instructions without issue.

I often go here just for the donairs. Get it with sweet sauce. The atmosphere is all right if you just ordering to go. Sure they've got a few stools to eat informally and a booth that seats a few people. But it's not an eat-in restaurant per se. You will be comfortable nevertheless. But back to the donairs. These are the tastiest I've had. And I've been to Halifax. So that's saying a lot. Pizzas are phenomenal needless to say. Try the large donair, trust me. You won't regret it.
