I ate here about a month ago and I’m still genuinely amazed at just how bad the Vegetarian Thai Curry Laksa was! I think it’s the single worst meal I can remember ordering from a restaurant, which is kind of impressive.

Fantastic service from Justine ! We came to moxies for a company dinner and had a wonderful time. Everyone loved the food and it was a great atmosphere. We will definitely be back in the future !

Moxies has been one of my favourite restaurants for years as I've always really enjoyed the food here (the steaks esp) and don't mind paying a little extra for the usually good atmosphere and good service. I always bring my friends to Moxies and even held my retirement dinner here. Last Tuesday night - however - I took 3 bites out of my steak and couldn't cut it anymore it was that fatty. I asked for a take-home box thinking it was Moxie's knives perhaps that weren't sharp enough to cut properly but as I tried to cut it at home, I discovered that 75% of my steak was grizzle and fat. Very disappointing now that the portions are smaller and more expensive, that the steaks aren't of better quality. I took a picture of it in disgust and disbelief, but will refrain from posting it here:(.

Nice modern décore and spacious inside.Quick service and they do have plenty of servers so you can always grab one if you need something last minute.The appetizer was gluten free was very tasty. They roasted the cherry tomatoes so it is extra sweet. Combine with goat cheese very delicious.The mahi-mahi grill was too salty …. Over seasoned with salt and Cajun spice. But the pesto sauce with mashed potatoes was delicious.Overall it is a nice place to go and sample food and stay out late as they offer late dining during week days while everyone else close at 9 pm.

OpenTable has just congratulated me on booking my first reservation at Gloucester Moxie's in 2021. Since then we have dined at Moxie's 26 times - and have always been pleased with the service, food, and drink. Most recently the blackened mahi-mahi served on a bed of mashed potatoes was delicious. My dining companion really enjoyed the chicken bowl. The Moscow Mule was great as was the non-alcoholic version. Moxie's is not cheap, but the food is always excellent. Service is pleasant and professional. Moxie's on Ogilvie Road is our go-to restaurant.
