I came in one day while my dog was getting a surgery a few units over, the wings were delicious and presented very nicely, I would have to say the nicest I have ever seen wings presented ,the lady at the cash was very friendly and the environment was pretty friendly too , although I am a little dissapointed that there closed until further notice, I had just tried to go back and was unsuccessful hopefully they open back up soon. Cheers

good food when cook is there and when they are not advertised as open on a Saturday 5pm and after you get your son's walker out of car & all that involves, they tell you (!!!! ; ( to leave restaurant " as private event on " which was not signed and only one table with 5 or 6 men were there at one table...I will never darken the door of that place again...misoginistic or just plain rude and un appreciative of customers I would say. Too bad as previous 2 visits I like the food. (they should appreciate customers since Blackurn Hamlet is a little removed from beaten track of Orleans and I made a point of trying to give them my business....

Very clean and well organized restaurant. The owner was on site and very keen on explaining the menu and the prices are very reasonable. The service was quick and well organized. We had a great meal of piri-piri chicken and we will be going back. Still new and off the radar of people but well worth the drive and the experience.

Fun place to go and watch Soccer and sip on the delicious beer from Portugal, Super Bock. The Nachos are awesome and the chicken is very tender and nicely marinated. Everyone is very warm and welcoming! Nice little spot to go to in the Hamlet.

Shawn, Shaun or Sean It is all the same name.

First time trying the restaurant and we decided to order the Family Takeout Bundle. The chicken was a disappointment. We enjoy Peri-Peri, and the chicken did not have that much of a taste. It was also tough and greasy. Maybe they should have added a dipping sauce on the side for the chicken. The French Fries were good and would have been better if they had a seasoning on them. The salad was good, but a bland oil dressing. Added Greek dressing to it to get a better taste. The Natas was the best part of the order. Very tasty and the best part of the order. I would give them a 5 out of 5.

I've decided to stop by this random spot to try their Tuesday tacos special. 6 favorite styles, but chicken, beef, chorizo, and pulled porked were the best! I highly recommend coming here on Tuesday 3 tacos for 15$.

Our first dine-in experience at Olitos was for Taco Tuesday lunch. Our server was wonderful, the food delicious, and the ambiance quiet and pleasant. It was exactly what we were looking for. Based on our experience, we highly recommend.

First time going to Olito’s Cafe. The food and service was amazing. You have to try the chicken. It was so delicious. For anyone that plays soccer at the Hornets Nest, this restaurant is located minutes away right down the street. Perfect location for post game food and drink. I will definitely go back again.

Portuguese snack bar. Super Bock on tap. I was in heaven. Bifana and chicken was perfect. A bit of a hike from Carleton Place but worth it if you are missing Portugal....and I am. It will do until October!

Friendly local Portuguese bistro / cafe/ pub hang out. A multi purpose place where they serve traditional Portuguese food and drinks.Occasionally when they have special events such as karaoke , they will close at late or 1 am in the morning on Saturday.Very friendly staff and great coffee!!! Smells awesome!!Large Open space inside with bar set at back. Clean and many stables, including some sofa seats. Was here for a karaoke night but the DJ was not professional, takes forever to look for a song and let’s one of his friends drags on and sings sons after another ( left when the person was going on with his fourth song without changing singer) …. Kinda frustrating. But if you call of family and friends hang out, I can understand. Do not advertise karaoke night for that reason. ( hence the 4 star ….)But do come here for their traditional food…. Bitoque and all are on the menu…..????

TLDR; won't go back.My friend and I went early for lunch (11:30) on a Friday afternoon and there were no other patrons there. We asked the server, who was very friendly and helpful, what the most popular item on the menu was. They said that people loved the chicken "it was what they were known for". So we ordered a whole chicken, which included salad and fries. They cautioned us that would take about 40 minutes. We were more than prepared to wait.Shortly thereafter the cook came out to clarify our order. We said that we wanted a whole chicken, and that we were prepared to wait. He asked us if we wanted it cut in half, and we said yes.Less than 10 minutes later we each received a chicken cut in half on our plates, an undressed salad with oil and vinegar dressing on the side (no seasoning/spices) and fries. The chicken tasted off, edible, but I didn't like it, and neither did my friend. The salad dressing was oil and vinegar without seasoning, and not much vinegar. We both added more vinegar to the dressing. The fries were the most enjoyable part of the meal, as was the Super Bock beer that we ordered.Honestly, we should have complained, but we didn't. Shame on us.Around noon a group of men (7?) arrived, turned on the TV to watch a sports event. Maybe one or two of them ordered a meal? I'm not sure because we left shortly thereafter.I don't normally go to sports bars. I only went to this one because my friend said it had come highly recommended. In this case, the recommendation came from a complete stranger.Be wary of strangers.
