Pho V - Vietnamese Restaurant

This was the worst vegan food I’ve ever had. The “vegan” option was rice vermicelli, fried tofu, and bean sprouts. NO sauce at all. Just nothing. Everyone else (non-vegans) looked at and agreed it was terrible.
There should be a zero stars rating…

This has been our go-to pho restaurant since 2019 and we would always order the same thing as we loved it that much but we unfortunately will no longer go back.

Yesterday, the broth tasted like water. It had absolutely no flavour. They served a side of lettuce instead of bean sprouts? The menue does say it should come with bean sprouts. I also had to return the vegetable rolls as they tasted so off. They still charged us for the rolls.

I’m really sad to write this review as we’ve been loving this place for years but something changed since the last couple of times we went and yesterday was the final straw.

Very disappointed with the quality of the food. We've been coming here for many years. Ultimately this was the final straw that broke the camel's back. The portions were very small and the brisket was green.

Sadly, we will not be recommending or be returning anymore.

The staff was friendly however the food was below subpar. That is reflected in this rating.

To the management at Pho V :

We used to eat at your restaurant often , and order take out regularly. But the last 2 times we were there , we couldn't get any food.l! Yes you read this correctly. Your restaurant isn't serving food ! The first instance was about 4 weeks ago , we walked in at around 7:35 on Friday night . We were told you were closed , so we left . So today we went in at 7:12. And , to our surprise , before even saying hello , the very same person told us you were closing soon ! Again this was 7:12. The website states closure is at 8, so having to hurry at this point, 45 mins from closing time , was really unacceptable .
At 7:12, menus were closed ,and we were ready to order . There were two tables ,of 2 ,one leaving and the other finishing their food at this time To say the service is bad in your establishment is an understatement. But unfortunately this is what you get with allowing unsupervised, impolite teenagers to run your business. We won't return. Too bad , as we will miss your good food. But your service has taken a huge nose dive.

I know most people will likely be coming here for the pho or noodles, but they serve the best General Tso's chicken you'll ever have in your life. The service can admittedly be a bit slow - but i can guarantee you it's all worth it for the general Tso's chicken. The combination of flavours and veggies that go with the perfectly cooked chicken is immaculate. It's everything you want in a crispy and saucy fried chicken dish, but without being overwhelmingly greasy: instead, it's fresh, tender, and beautiful. Again, come for the pho - and stay for the general Tso's chicken.

Food and service was great.

I've been there three times and that's enough. All 3 visits I had the same chicken vermicelli bowl and here I am with my review. The bottom is filled with that beans sprout. The noodle cold. The veggies are disgusting lettuce wilted and cucumber rotten. The chicken was cold. I am done with this place, don't waste your money.

Stomach pains... Food stinky... The slaughter house kind of freshness in chicken🤮 . They dont wash their meat or season it😱. Never going here again. They didnt want to do fried rice instead of plain & i waited 40 minutes for 1 meal🧐

Broth was fatty and tasted funny, plus paid extra for two large size, and it came with one half ounce cup of sriracha

Ordered take away pho dac biet because I'm fighting a cold and craved some pho. Food arrived neatly packed and individually bagged to avoid spillage. Generous portions of meats (that were also delicious and tender), great toppings and the broth is ridiculously delicious and aromatic. Would order again 100%. Thank you!!!
