Known for their amazing schnitzels, the restaurant offers a variety of options, such as the pork Jager schnitzel, which is huge, juicy, and covered in a crispy crust. The spätzle is fluffy and delicious, and the red cabbage is fantastic. Friendly and helpful servers provide excellent service, with staff being quick, kind, and courteous. While the restaurant may not be fully wheelchair accessible, it’s a great spot for lunch or dinner, and there is easy parking available. Beer is not currently available, but the food makes up for it. With Slovak ownership, Schnitzelworks is a gem in Ottawa, offering a taste of Slavic cuisine that’s sure to impress. Although sometimes the wait can be long due to limited staff in the kitchen, the authentic and filling meals make it worth the wait.
