I had an extremely disappointing experience at this restaurant. When I arrived to pick up my order, it wasn’t even ready yet, and the staff started preparing it in front of me. Not only did they not have tandoori sauce, but the person also used white bread, which I specifically don’t eat. She didn’t even ask if I wanted a different type of bread, despite being right there.
When I asked to cancel the order because it wasn’t being prepared as I requested, the staff member became rude and unhelpful. She flatly refused to offer any sort of refund and acted frustrated for no reason at all.
It’s incredibly frustrating when basic ingredients like tandoori sauce and garlic bread are unavailable, especially in the morning. This lack of attention to detail and poor customer service has completely turned me off from ever coming back. I would not recommend this place to anyone, especially after being treated so poorly. Probably the worst Subway in Ottawa. I saw a worker putting fresh veggies on top of the old veggies instead of bringing the old ones up or throwing them away. That is disgusting. They also are so slow, why did it take 10 minutes to make my foot long when I was the only one in line? I went here multiple times to see if they were just having an off day, but turns out every day is an off day there. I don’t recommend going here.

My partner and I went into this establishment and we were not greeted but instantly met with hostility, there was no 'hello', no 'what can I get you' just a rude "yea?" to ask what we would like to order. We ordered a vegetarian sandwich and a BLT, the employee made no effort to avoid cross-contamination. As someone who's worked in the industry I know for a fact there's a minimum threshold of care you must strive for and she did not do it my partner is not deathly allergic to meat however there are some people who could suffer from the lack of care displayed at the establishment. No change of gloves between us and other customers, no change of gloves between my sandwich and my GF's, and our sandwiches were cut with the same knife as the other customer's food was and It appeared to have tuna on it when we walked in. (I sure hope whoever was getting those sandwiches can eat pork because they did tonight) I spent less than 10 minutes in there and I spotted several violations of the Ottawa Public Health Food Safety code. The lettuce was more brown than green and they were missing multiple sauces and apparently, there was absolutely none in the back. when it came time to pay we attempted to use a coupon that expires the next day however 'the system wouldn't accept it' We were done by this point and just had to leave. one more thing and it's a small note but I asked for ranch and then half the amount of mayo as she put on the ranch and she put it on half the sandwich, I understand the miscommunication but when I make the entire sandwich the exact same and ask for half the amount of mayo not mayo on half I'd expect at least certification before you dump 2 large squirts on half my sub. This was not my first bad experience at this establishment however it will be my last experience here and I advise you to go to any other subway location here are 3 better options within 3km
