I heard a lot about La Bonita so I was really excited to try it. Maybe my expectations were too high going in because I left a bit disappointed. The food was just ok, and I found it really expensive for what you got (average food, average portions). The restaurant looked very nice and authentic however.

This place is a hidden gem. The food is incredibly authentic and delicious; we enjoyed our meal and had a fantastic time. The ambiance is wonderful, and the staff makes you feel like part of the family. Highly recommended—make sure to book a table in advance as it can get quite busy.

Was reccomended La Bonita restaurant and finally tried it! Drinks were extremely impressive and food was amazing! The atmosphere makes you feel far away from a cold winter outside. So many beautiful pieces on display and a creative drink menu. Perfect date night spot-hidden gem!

The atmosphere is lovely! The food wasn't as good as we were hoping and for the portions it is a bit overpriced.
The food was ok, but not worth the price. Tres leches cake was especially disappointing as it was so dry. Great atmosphere though. Many drink selections were available but we haven't tried any. Might be a good place for a date but not the best for dinner.

Can’t say enough about our favourite Mexican restaurant in town. A hidden gem that transports you on a little getaway to Mexico. Amazing authentic food, no pretension, beautiful specialty cocktails that will for sure put a smile on your face. Try everything because you can’t go wrong. The decor is fun and colourful with just good old fashioned hospitality. It’s become my little happy place and I will continue to go back. Really must give it a try.

We had reservations for 4pm. We arrived beforehand and all seemed to start off well. The restaurant was very quiet not much activity going on. It took 20 minutes to get our drinks we ordered then another 20 minutes after that to have our food order taken by the server. The appetizer was awful and tough to eat (Fundido Queso). The food was bland and not very flavourful. The service was very poor and the restaurant was very cold. I used to love this restaurant but it seems as time has marched on that the menu has gotten smaller and pricey and the food quality and service has just left the entire establishment. Over priced for what you pay for and honestly this restaurant now is a shadow of its former glory. If your looking for mediorce food and bad service and a lighter wallet well your in luck. I WOULDNT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE ANYMORE and before all the bleeding hearts come out to defend this place my partner and I were just here a few weeks ago and it was not much better but If you were to go back to La Bonitas from 2018 to 2020 amazing but now just not worth it
