The mixed drinks were really good and also made with a heavy hand. I also love that they have two flags ipa as this is my favorite beer and you rarely see it at restaurants. The service was amazing and the atmosphere makes you feel like your in Mexico.I was not very impressed with our food this visit as it really seemed to lack strong flavors. The table sauces were nice, but that shouldn't have been the flavor highlight. I expected more from the mole but was left a little disappinted and my partner had the tacos and it was okay but not somethingnwe would rave about as a must try.It was also disappointing that their fryer was off for the churros and it would have been a 20-minute wait for it to heat up. This was odd as we were there at the peak of dinner.All in all I would go back, but I'll be honest it wouldn't be my first choice. But this was my first impression and I hope it's better the next time for the price.

This restaurant was recommended to me by my coworker who lives in Ottawa. My family and I are from Toronto and we love Mexican food. This place did not disappoint. The food was phenomenal. I got the tacos dourados and it was amazing. The rice was very delicious as well. I would highly recommend eating here.

Service and food were not the greatest. They didn't have any high chairs or place to change your baby. The price that we paid for food was not worth it.Been here in the past, everything was great then. Quality is definitely not the same.

I heard a lot about La Bonita so I was really excited to try it. Maybe my expectations were too high going in because I left a bit disappointed. The food was just ok, and I found it really expensive for what you got (average food, average portions). The restaurant looked very nice and authentic however.

This place is a hidden gem. The food is incredibly authentic and delicious; we enjoyed our meal and had a fantastic time. The ambiance is wonderful, and the staff makes you feel like part of the family. Highly recommended—make sure to book a table in advance as it can get quite busy.
