Good deal for the breakfast. Only negative was it was really cold, the AC was turned up. It was a cool day and walking in it felt like it was I was walking into a freezer.

The lady manager working was screaming at the staff and swearing loud enough that all the customers could hear, would not take anymore orders. Yelling about how they were short staffed. They messed up someone’s order and had to redo it. Very unprofessional and angry. The older man working the counter was very nice and apologetic about not being able to serve anymore people.

Friday July 12 around 7pm, we stopped for dinner on our way through Goderich. Every single table was dirty and/or covered with the dishes and wrappers from the previous customers. A couple of families were finishing up their meals, but the restaurant was by no means busy. The staff were all in the kitchen and it took a few minutes for someone to come out to take our order. When he did, he seemed distracted by whatever fun time they were having in the kitchen. I ordered a veggie burger and barely got the words out of my mouth before he cut me off to inform me that it would take 10 minutes to cook. I said that was fine, we placed the rest of our order and went to find a seat. The staff member who took our order immediately disappeared back into the kitchen, so we were unable to ask to have a table cleaned off. I used some napkins and hand sanitizer to wipe off the table because it was covered in food pieces and sticky residue. Our food was ready in about the time he said, it was fine, although a little bit cold, which seemed strange since they had to obviously make the burger fresh. There were boxes of napkins sitting on the counter for our entire visit, a mop and bucket out on the floor of the restaurant, and the entire time we were sitting eating, nobody came out to have a look around the restaurant, the staff remained in the back. We could hear lots of laughing , as they were having a grand old time back there. There were dirty dishes piled by the condiment stand as well, and nobody came to get them. There was also randomly a tool sitting out beside our table. I hope the owner is aware of the absolutely unacceptable level of service and cleanliness in this restaurant. We even watched another customer come in and wait several minutes for someone to come and take his order. (Nobody did) He then left without ordering, looking frustrated that no one had come to take care of him.
