“A friend and I went to River Run to try something new for her birthday overnight in Goderich. She had the chef’s special fish sandwich with Italian wedding soup and I had the spaetzel schnitzel poutine. Both meals were wonderful and so fresh! It was so good we went back for lunch the next day. I brought a spaetzel schnitzel poutine home and it was still incredibly delicious and fresh reheated for supper. The service was friendly and welcoming, efficient and polite. This restaurant is a complete hidden gem and such good value for the money. Fresh, incredibly delicious, homemade and affordable.River Run is a hidden gem that deserves not to be hidden.”

I ordered a latte, and I can easily say that I haven't had a latte this smooth and perfectly balanced anywhere outside of Montreal. Barista knows what he's doing!! Would highly recommend if you're looking for a true cafe experience.”

Alex brews a range of style so there's usually something available regardless of your preference, from seltzers to hoppy IPAs to stouts and light lagers. My favorite is the medium bodied Vienna is Waiting.Dog friendly, there are games including a golf simulator, often has live music, and is a trail access for the Maitland Woods urban forest trail system!”

“Lamb shank was delish! Highly recommend. Hot water with lemon was served properly, with pot of hot water, lemon slices on the side, and heated teacup. Dessert chocolate guiness cake with ganache topping was lovely. Only downside was location of table. Every time door open a cold draft would hit my back. Unable change tables due to event. Definitely will go back but sit elsewhere :)”

“My husband and I ate here today. The food was amazing! Our waitress even brought us some extra chicken that she had prepared. The miso soup was great as well as the chicken katsu, and the tuna and salmon in the poke bowl is definitely recommended.”
