Tasty fish&chips soaked in lime vinegar and seasoned with lemon pepper salt right at the foot of the harbour. Never been disappointed.

The service and food are 12/10! This is an authentic chippy with tons of options for salt & vinegar, very reasonable prices, and local breweries on tap. Bonus points to the owners for being friendly, funny, and very serious about good fish and chips!

Let me tell you. This place on the Harbour it's prefect place. Off the beaten path. Fish and with chips wrapped in paper like the old days. Not news print tho. Prices are good and eco friendly. Bring your own cutlery and plates if you want to.

I don’t normally write a review but I now have had two bad experiences.

First a couple weeks ago when sitting by the water I didn’t hear the worker call my name. She then screamed it in a VERY aggressive manner. I let it go as everyone is entitled to a bad day.

Now my second negative experience I will admit I am partly to blame. There was someone before me in the queue and their order came up first, it sounded a lot like the name I ordered under, rhyming. So I picked it up thinking it was mine. I sat down and then the couple in front of me in the queue went up to check on their order they had realized the mistake. The worker then yelled again very aggressively that I had “stolen” someone else food. Her tone was way way harsher than it needed it to be. It was an honest mistake. I talked to the other couple and apologized they very cordial and agreed the staff member is being inappropriate.

It was the same staff member both times. If you can’t handle customer service don’t work in a customer facing position.

Worst fish and chips I've ever had, soggy fries, all 12 of them. Crunchy over cooked haddock.

Don't know what happened...we just went on Friday and everything was very greasy....the fries where saturated in oil and so was the fish and for 28.00 for 2 people not worth it at all.

Honestly- steer clear! The fact they hand you one measley, oily piece of fish for 15 dollars is a crime! I can guarantee you, not one single person in the lineup was from the community. This owner should close the doors as they are obviously money hungry , desperate, price gouging scoundrels. We went to the skyranch right after and recognized another couple from our 35 minute lineup.

This has been my go to fish and chips for years now but I won't be back. Similar to the other recent reviews, the portion sizes are insultingly small and the new owners must have forgot they're serving people and not birds. Even birds would leave still hungry. This is super disappointing. They increased the price and cut the portions in half. Good luck being open in a few years.

Shabby, rundown, overpriced, no value for money, small portions with high prices. You even have to pay for ketchup and tartar sauce ?? No bathroom and no cutlery or table service. They shout out your name from a little window and when you pay they have the NERVE to request a tip !! Oviously taking advantage of the tourist who will never return BUT forgot about social media!

Very delicious but very expensive and tiny microscopic portions. These people need to understand that they're feeding humans, not birds. 20$ for a few fries and very little fish. They'll never see me again.

Decided to have some fish and chips for the first time this year. Very disappointed. Fries were either frozen or reheated. Fish was soft and dark batter. Time to change your oil. Won’t be exited about fish and chips from old salts anymore.

Sitting on the patio, looking out at the water, such a beautiful view. Food was great, service was good, our waitress didn't come check on us until we were almost done our food, so we didn't get refills on our drinks and we didn't get silverware, I had to go get some myself but other then that I recommend it.

This is the best fish and chips I’ve ever had. Nothing was overly greasy. The fish flaked nicely, wasn’t mushy or too solid. Fries were fresh cut! Both were the real deal. We had 5 orders between our family and we all agreed. Way to go!
