Partner and I went in for a beer & some appetizers. The sign said “seat yourself” so we sat in a booth next to the bar. Wasn’t busy as it was a Tuesday night. The staff watched us walk in. The waiter served the table right next to us, grabbed them multiple drinks but never once addressed us. After 25 minutes of not even being spoken to once , we left. No service at all, not even a hello. Never again.

Cozy pub with good food and a large selection of beers on tap. Our server Danny was absolutely incredible.

Service was excellent, Brenna our server was amazing, attentive and was great to our 3 kids. Food was quicks and very tasty. We had wings cooked to perfection, Nachos were super and let me tell you how delicious the chocolate cake and brownie was.... to die for! Great atmosphere and great staff! Will definitely come back :)

The food was ok, lasagna was all cheese and maybe 2 noodles. Way too heavy, the quesadillas was good. There was someone playing guitar and it was too loud for a small area. The staff were friendly and good though.

The meal a Reuban Sandwich could have been made on one slice of bread. Where’s the beef?? Very disappointing. Our waiter was not attentive at all in fact a girl did most of his job. We will not be back. I wish I had taken a pic of the sandwich as hardly any meat and hardly any sauerkraut. I complained and got a whopping 10% discount!! Big deal.

Felt abandoned on the patio. Ordered a different beer than the rest of the family and got the stink eye from the server. Had a smash burger that looked like 3 meatballs squished onto a bun. Not impressed.

Goderich has several amazing restaurants, avoid this one, waited forever for server, messed up drink order, messed up meal order. I guess you could say they are consistent.

Being generous with 2 stars. Poorly run operation, we came on a night with only a few tables. Our server was frantically running around despite the establishment being nearly empty. Maybe it was his first day I don’t know. The service was painfully slow but nonetheless we got the food and what can I say. The water was fantastic. Nachos were passable at best, ribs and wings were absolutely terrible. Funny enough the wings were “world renowned”.

We had a less than stellar experience this past Saturday. We walked in at about 7pm (we had performed at Courthouse Square until 6:30) and decided to stay indoors as the AC was nice and cool, and Brian Gardiner was playing and sounded great. We were optimistic that we would have some good food and relax a little before returning to the festival in progress to see other acts. We asked a server if we could sit in the booths by the front door, and we're given the okay, so we sat there and listened to Brian. We waited to be served for about 29 minutes before I went to the bar and asked if we sat somewhere that there was no server. I was assured that we would be served. Another 15 minutes passed, and a server finally arrived, so we decided that we would take food to go and placed an order. Another server (server 2) came over 5 minutes later to ask if we had put in a drink order, and we informed him we were waiting for take out. Approximately 10 minutes later, just before 8pm, my companions decided to return to Courthouse Square so as not to miss the next act and I stayed behind to wait for our orders. Server 2 came back to me at this point and said that he did not see an order on the system for us, so I told him to forget about it and walked out. He came out and across the road to find me a minute or 2 later to say that he made a mistake, that he sees our takeout order, so I went back in to collect it. He gave me my order and apologized for all of the mix up, at which point I returned to Courthouse Square and sat down at a table with my companions and another couple that we just met. When I opened our meals, my order was wrong as there were no curly fries, so that was disappointing. But hen, I was made to feel like I was fortunate to have regular fries when my ladybioened her meal and saw the pathetic serving of curly fries she was given. I have attached a photo. We decided not to return to have the situation fixed as we had zero confidence that it wouldn't be messed up further, and quite frankly, we were ravenous after waiting so long. The people we were sitting with stated that this is typical for your restaurant. We ate the food. The burger had very little flavor, and my friend's roast beef sandwich would have been completely flavorless without the onions and cheese.

Went for first time in wi g night which did not seem to be over busy. Had three waiters walk past our table and not one acknowledged our existence. Finally ordered beers that took forever to show up. I will give them another shot at my business and hopefully that evening was just a bad night. Food was ok and beer prices were good.

I was staying at the Bedford Hotel. Having Paddy O’Neils on my doorstep- was excellent. A great pub atmosphere, staff very friendly and accommodating, menu choices excellent- food was amazing, great prices- I would rate my experience there above any pub I’ve been to. In late evening hours they also served delicious desserts and green tea.

Vegetarian options: Stir fried veggies. They will also accommodate any non- vegetarians dishes with your substitution choice.
