Visited Goderich for a few days, and tried this restaurant because of the good reviews. We tried their special, pork and steak. The food was tasty and had a good portion. And the server was nice and attentive.

Absolutely delicious dinner! I had the Lobster Mac and Cheese with Pear Salad and my husband tried the Maple Bacon Pierogis. Warm and friendly service. Located in the main square in Downtown Goderich. Reasonably priced too. Wish I had room for dessert!

This was our second visit to Goderich and our second visit to Part II Bistro. The food was very tasty and the servings were of a good size to satisfy a hungry eater. I chose pear salad and stuffed chicken breast. If you don't like garlic tho, beware! Good presentation for the mains.
The service was friendly and prompt, with check ups for both starter and main.
The restaurant is quite small so I recommend making a reservation.
Wonderful service. Food was very tasty but maybe a little overly complicated. The duck breast was cooked properly, the potatoes were good, a little more grease on the plate than I'd prefer.

Food was great, however it got cold quickly because the plates weren't heated before being served. I think hot food deserves hot plates and heating plates should not be very difficult or time consuming. The atmospheres was okay, but I found it very noisy. Perhaps some noise-dampening features should be added. Overall, though, a nice experience.

Mixed review on our experience. Atmosphere is great, casual, funky, fun. Our server was fabulous: friendly, accommodating, informed about the menu, appropriately attentive and engaged with us in a way, that made us all feel she really cared about our experience. Great beer selection, reasonable prices. Wine selection, limited, basic.
The food was mixed results: appetizers: chicken dumplings and 2 Caesar Salads …fab!
For mains: Stacked seafood not enjoyable (salmon was moist and tasty but, the shrimp & crab cakes were weak compliments, and the the cous cous did not fit (odd flavour did not fit with other ingredients). My friend had the fish and chips…. One thin, tired looking over cooked piece of fish and tired looking fries. He was not happy. The tacos were enjoyed, and the winner at dinner was the fish special, looked great with root vegetables.
Again the server was very helpful ensuring food matched with allergy requirements.
Several dishes I saw going by looked great: steak special, burgers, enchiladas so maybe we just ordered some of the weaker menu items; or the chef was having an off day.
Either way, we had fun, just disappointed with (some of) the food.
We’ll come again, because it was fun…but will stick to the basics.

Dessert: raspberry pie was enjoyed, but the (2) crème brûlée were a bit off: crust VERY thick, almost like eating candy, and tne custard was inconsistent in texture. Meh!
