Great food but the service could improve

Purvis Fish & Chips offers a warm welcome and excellent service to its customers. The restaurant has a great casual/rustic atmosphere, especially with its spectacular view of the water and a dog friendly outdoor patio. The menu features delicious options, including fish and chips, a fish burger, battered fish with fries, and shrimp tacos with poutine. These dishes are made with nice thick batter and tender, flaky excellent fish, ensuring a satisfying meal. The tartar sauce seemed to be homemade. While there may be minor drawbacks, such as a long wait for food, the overall dining experience is well worth a visit. The staff is friendly and welcoming, and the octagonal shape of the restaurant adds to its charm. With lots of free parking available, Purvis Fish & Chips is a place that should not be missed when on the Island.
