They water down their tequila shots. Test it out for yourself with buy a bottle of coconut tequila. You will realize the bottle you bought is stronger then the shot they charge you with. And double check your bill because they will overcharge you.

Best spicy margaritas and pork nachos, ever! We love this place. It is definitely our go-to! And love that the patio is dog friendly. Huge bonus!

Amazing food quality great patio and get experience. We had mango tequila drink with street style tacos and enchiladas served with salsa verde. Amazing service people were nice to us and fresh homely food

We visited La Playita Mexican Restaurant & Bar last month during our trip to Grand Bend Beach, and it was such a great experience! There were four of us, and my wife and I ordered nachos and tacos, both were absolutely delicious. The flavors were fresh and authentic, and the portions were perfect for sharing. The atmosphere was lively and welcoming, and the staff were super friendly and attentive. Definitely a must-try spot if you’re in Grand Bend! 🌮🌯🍹

My friends and I went there for a dinner during her bachelorette.
The people were fantastic - Chris served us and matched our humour effortlessly.
When we called an hour later for more margaritas - they were happily entertained and obliged.

The margarita’s here are seriously the best. We’d go back for more, but it was the last night of the season and we may or may not have cleaned them out of their mix.
Seriously so good, and can’t wait to go back next year.

My wife and I ate there 3 weeks ago on a Monday.
It's a somewhat grubby looking place. Someone was hanging lights, while another cleaned spider webs from walls and ceiling whilst patrons were eating.
Our waitress (as well as the bar tender) had just started that morning so service was poor at best.
We each had a burrito and a beer. Food was not authentic and tasted like a taco from a kit. The cutlery was disgustingly dirty.
Certainly not worth the $80 for a couple burritos and a drink for my wife. I didn't even touch the water.

We arrived at 9pm it was a happening place! Music/DJ plenty of outdoor and indoor seating. It was beautifully decorated, loved the outdoor patio. We ordered a burrito and tacos, both came with chips/salsa. Great flavours, spices & pickled onions. Wasn’t spicy at all. It was great.

What a gem of a spot. Incredible Mexican food and amazing atmosphere. Service is top notch but cannot rave enough about the food. Even our 6 year old scraped his plate clean! Will be back later this week and every time we are in grand bend!
