$100 for 2 people for a 3-level set. Quite enjoyable but too much to finish and therefore too expensive.
I would come back for the nice ambiance and view but only have the 2-level set. I'd also request to change a few items. The brie tasted of nothing and the cranberry spread was way too sweet. The egg tarts didn't taste of much either. The scones were good but deserve much more clotted cream.
The teas all were very good.
Stopped by on a beautiful Sunday. Shoulda walked out as soon as I walked in!! My BIGGEST mistake ever was not to follow my gut!!
Let’s just say the owners (whom I think their names were Karen and Karen) are always right and the customer is always wrong. They like to deflect instead taking responsibility. They definitely don’t behave like owners and treat customers with respect. They give Gravenhurst a bad name. Let me add they also treat their staff horribly and don’t like kids either…
Came in with friends, the lady at the front desk turned us RIGHT off from ever coming back. Super passive aggressive and rude. Snarked at us for asking if they had coffee and proceeded to snark further when asked if there were chai tea lattes. Super rude. Would never support an establishment like this. I am a local and this is very disappointing
Very beautiful shop. Nice lakeview as well. Various choices of tea.
I went to the blue willow tea shop to celebrate my birthday and I was very pleased, to say the least. The ambiance was really nice and the food was delicious. I will definitely be coming back.
Terrible experience here.
We arrived and place was completely empty but open.
We went in and they asked us to stand by door to be seated. No problem. There was a narrow hallway from entrance to tea restaurant.
We waited and waited. My husband went in to find someone to no avail.
Then a server came out in to hallway use the washroom and saw us. Still no one seated us.
After about 20-25 minutes we left.
Disgusted and disappointed.
To top it off it was my Birthday and this was going to be my Birthday luncheon surprise.
However Rotsky’s which was close by made us feel welcome and the food was superb.
They even gave me a free dessert for my Birthday.
Save your time and avoid High Tea at The Blue Willow.
Head to that wonderful place in Toronto in Victoria or anywhere else for that matter.
my daughter loves having tea parties (she's 5) so we've started having mommy daughter dates to have a real tea party at Blue Willow tea shop .. and it never disappoints!!! we love to get dressed fancy and wear our fascinator! the staff is amazing and the food is always SO good! beautiful view and such a nice atmosphere! we love coming here and look forward to many more mommy daughter dates!
Gravenhurst is a truly lovely community and stop if you are travelling to or from the Cottage Country. (between Sudbury & Toronto).
The Blue Willow Tea Shop is located in the impressive Cockburn Square, where you are sure to find something of interest on this picturesque waterfront and creatively designed park area complete with gazebos, picnic areas, unique stores, washroom facilities, ample parking and amazing views.
The Blue Willow Tea Shop is a diamond amongst the many gems to choose from. It is a wonderful treat amongst beautiful surroundings. Whether you are looking for a traditional English ‘cuppa’ & wonderful treats on a 3-tiered cake stand or just wanted to shop for a TRULY WIDE & WONDERFUL assortment of AMAZING jams, jellies and unique gifts etc direct from England, this is the place to take your favourite Aunt, Grandma, visitor or loved one. They will love you for it and remember it forever.
I had my relatives over from Wales and the UK and they adored it. Unfortunately, I also had my ‘man’s best friend’ with us so were unable to indulge in all there was to offer but I did pick up a Mrs Darlington Blackberry & Apple Jam & a Wilkin & Sons Damson Conserve for delicious treats on our cross country road trip.
Best scone I have found in Muskoka. Obviously the tea is great too. Would like to come back for the full high tea experience
Lovely tea place and shop in Gravenhurst. We came back 2x unfortunately we got mixed up with their store hours that we weren’t able to try eating in. But bought teas and some other things. Staff were friendly. We’ll go back again another time.

A friend and I went for afternoon tea and it was superb! Everything was tasty and well presented. The servers were friendly and efficient. I would definitely recommend! Hope to make it back there soon!
Quaint shop with beautiful views and tea set decor. Enjoyed High Tea, including the excellent service, tea selection, and 3-tiered tray of savoury and sweet bites. Appreciated the temperature in the tea room such that even on a hot day, either hot or iced tea felt like a good choice. Vanilla Chai, Monks Blend, Apple Cranberry, and Peach Apricot were all enjoyed at our table. Will return!
We were hoping for a quick snack ahead of our cruise, not appreciating the sitting times for high tea. The owner was lovely and so accommodating setting us up with a wee tea between sittings. The drinks were refreshing, and the variety, taste, and freshness of the food was top tier. We loved the decor and lots of options for takeaway and British products.
We were a group of 13 ladies, on our 10th anniversary of our yearly weekend away. We booked into the tea house for Saturday afternoon and we were all very pleased. The service was excellent and the good was delicious. Great place!
Went there today, one of the best experiences I have had. Great customer service, food was so fresh, authentic and such high quality. Had a wide variety and offered dietary alternatives. Loved this place, 10/10 hands down, will be back!
