“Stopped on Main Street Gravenhurst at Burger Boys food trailer. Asked for a recommendation and Mark offered up his signature Muskoka Burger. 2 patties, cheese, bacon and pulled pork. The only condiment is a Smokey bbq sauce that accentuates the entire experience. Pair that with a fresh brioche bun branded with the Burger Boys emblem is a must for any hungry burger lover. Don’t miss this gem”

“my daughter loves having tea parties (she's 5) so we've started having mommy daughter dates to have a real tea party at Blue Willow tea shop .. and it never disappoints!!! we love to get dressed fancy and wear our fascinator! the staff is amazing and the food is always SO good! beautiful view and such a nice atmosphere! we love coming here and look forward to many more mommy daughter dates!”

“My hubby and I went to celebrate his birthday. We have been seeing the daily specials for months and wanted to try but this past weekend when visiting my mom she told us the cream of mushroom soup was to die for and we knew we HAD to visit! We tried the calamari, we both agree it was the best we’ve ever had. It was small tender pieces, lightly battered w/ their seafood sauce and lemon! We also tried the crab rangoon with sweet Thai sauce. They were cheesy, crabby & wrapped in a crispy wonton wrapper. It was a Thursday, so my husband had the surf & turf special. He said his steak was cooked exactly how he had asked. I tried a bite and it was so good. He had a beer with his meal from a local brewery. I had the halibut & chips. The batter wasn’t overly thick, the fish was!! I haven’t seen a thick piece of halibut like that in a long time. The fries were hot and crispy and the tartar sauce was on point. I brought 2 bowls of soup home, one for me & one for my bestie…10/10 for us!! We came up from Orillia and were confused by the fact we were the only ones in the restaurant. It was nice to meet Alicia & Chef! They were both personable and great to chat with. We look forward to going back and know that if we’re craving fish & chips to make the trip! Thanks for an incredible meal!!”

The staff were so kind and helpful throughout the process, the sandwiches were fresh and delicious, and everyone commented on how great they were. Highly recommend for catering or a quick meal. “The best donuts ever. Apple fritter doesn't look special but it tastes amazing and is our favorite in Ontario that we have had. Cream filled is incredible too. The staff are so sweet, and we were able to call ahead and put some donuts on hold. They definitely sell out of a lot of things by early afternoon.”

“I’m very specific about which subway i go to after a horrible experience with the Innisfil location. I’m happy to say this subway has had better quality food, better service & provides a much better experience than others. I frequent this location often as i work in the area, they’ve always been efficient & diligent. Even after returning with a complaint about my food, they were quick to correct the issue & gave me advice on how to prevent this issue from reoccurring. By far my favourite location 100%. “Our meals were great although the fries could have been a bit hotter. Our Server Leanne was very attentive and insisted on us checking that our steaks were done to our liking when she brought them. The bill was reasonable and the drinks were good. Overall, an enjoyable experience!”

“Our dear mom is celebrating her 94th birthday this year and we had her birthday at the Cliffside Restaurant in the Cascade room. A table for twenty people. We were treated exceptionally with a special lunch menu just for us. The food was excellent and Chef Thomas provides amazing delicacies. The desserts were delicious but the most exceptional thing about our experience was the outstanding staff. Everyone was fantastic with helping me organize the event for my mom. When I arrived everything for her was in place. The staff was attentive and caring, kind and provided exceptional service in everyone. They came to the table singing happy birthday with the candles in three dessert platters and my mom was incredibly happy! The whole afternoon was just perfect in every way. It will always be a memorable birthday for our mom and the whole family. Thank you James May, Chef Thomas and all the staff at Muskoka Bay Cliffside Restaurant especially the lovely Avery who served us exceptionally well and always with a smile!! “We had such a wonderful experience at Bethune’s Bistro! We had checked out of our B&B at 11 a.m. but weren’t leaving Gravenhurst until a couple of hours later, and unfortunately it was absolutely pouring rain outside.

I’m so sorry that I didn’t get the name of the lovely gentleman who was working yesterday. He was an older gentleman and truly such a kind soul. He was incredibly welcoming and patient with us and allowed us to stay for a while without ever making us feel rushed or like we were taking up space. His kindness really meant a lot to us, especially on such a rainy day when we had some time to fill before leaving town.

On top of that, the food was wonderful! We had such a lovely, relaxing time there, and it ended up being the perfect place to spend our last few hours in Gravenhurst. Wonderful food, genuine hospitality, and such a warm experience overall. We will absolutely be back the next time we’re in the area. Highly recommend! ❤”
