“Truly the best Chelsea loaf and Apple fritters I have ever eaten. Every time I pass through Gravenhurst I pre-order a couple of loaves. I had heard about their apple fritters and today I tried one. Omg, so good and I think I had nearly a whole apple in mine.
Go early or order ahead as they do sell out. Also picked up a loaf of multi-grain sour dough bread but too full to try it right now.“

“Stopped in on a weeknight around 8pm to grab coffee before heading out to shoot the sunset over Muskoka Bay and the drive-thru line was moving fast even then. Got a dark roast and a maple dip and sat by the window for a bit, the light coming through was actually really nice for a few quick phone shots. Staff at the counter were friendly and didn't rush me even though I was fiddling with my camera bag in line. Parking lot was easy to get in and out of too, which is always a plus when you're hauling around gear.“

“Without question the only place in Bracebridge to get actual proper sourdough bread . There are other bakeries in town (that will remain nameless here...you figure it out) that claim they are selling sourdough bread, but I have tried the other sources, and there is only one authentic producer of proper sourdough and it's The Oven on highway 118 west just on the edge of Bracebridge. Be your own judge.“
