“Happened upon this place by accident, but it seems like it was fate!! The food was amazing. I had the French onion soup and egg salad on foccacia and both were delicious. I also bought a carrot cake with cream cheese frosting to take home and it was so tasty. I would definitely recommend Fine Thymes if you're in Bracebridge and looking for a quaint spot with great food.“

“Would I recommend The Oven... Abso-friggin-lutely!! Some of the most amazing humans work there, creating delicious mouthwatering morsels and feasts. You really should try the wood fired pizza, made from scratch sour dough bread (also the pizza crust), the fresh baked goods, and the freezer selection, is quite handy, for those nights you don’t know "what to make for dinner?". Just remember... be nice to those amazing humans... they work really hard at what they do so we can enjoy the delectable food.“

“I just received my order from Beat the Wheat which came very quickly. Of course I had to dive right into the cinnamon buns. Beyond amazing. I heated one up and it was beautiful and soft and absolutely delicious the way normal cinnamon buns used to be. The bagels and buns are huge and I am beyond impressed. If you have never tried this place you must.“

“About as typical a Tim's as they generally come. Familiar and economically priced, i.e., reward/price = 5 stars (*****) IMO. Close to Bracebridge's main retail/fast food area. One of two Tims in town, the other on the way to Home Depot/Walmart. There is another Lake Muskoka Tim Hortons in Gravenhurst.Just to the west of this Hwy 118w Tim Hortons (*****), you will find one of two Lake Muskoka Star Bucks (*** IMO). Besides these two megalithic chains, nearly all Bracebridge coffee outlets have closed with the exception of Oliver's (**** IMO), which is found in six Lake Muskoka locations and Huntsville. I am unaware of any other coffee centered/chain businesses in Bracebridge. Obviously, many other businesses also serve coffee. My limited COFFEE CHAIN RESEARCH suggests:Presently, Tim Hortons has about 4 times as many locations as the next largest coffee chain in Canada, i.e., Star Bucks.Ignoring all the others, both Tim's and Starbuck's locations seem to average about 2 service points, including the drive-throughs, Tim's is typically faster, delivering less expensive coffee, and most people order coffee in some form(duh!). This suggests Tim's between the two largest Canadian chains delivers approximately 80 percent of Canada's individual coffee servings... So if you have enough disposable income, you might try Starbucks, but if you had to choose between -only- these two, you are following the presumed mass majority of Canadians if you go with Tim's... Not to say any of the other chains don't offer good tasting coffee in pleasant environments at fair value!PERSONALLY:I suggest you might try Tim's DARK ROAST, particularly if you have always ordered the default/regular.If you REALLY want to taste your coffee, stop adulterating it with milk (cream) and/or sugar etc.I have enjoyed most Tim's blue berry products... Damn it, Jim, we're Canadians after all!Regrettably, one of the only two coffee houses I have ever been in Canada in 50 years that had a commercial coffee roaster on-site was a Bracebridge Camp Muskoka coffee house. Unfortunately, it didn't survive covid. Note, however, you can buy WHOLE FRESH COFFEE BEANS (at least in some cities) and grind them yourself for a delightful and economical coffee experience! (******)Eat and drink responsibly... sugar and fat have calories... but life is too tedious if you NEVER treat yourself!BEWARE the coffee growing rain forest environment! If available, you might consider trying roasted dandelion root tissane/'tea'... Dandelion grows in more locations in Canada than Tim's!NOTE that I have enjoyed the coffee experience in ALL the businesses I have listed here...In spite of drinking coffee for 50 years, I have a latent nagging distrust for a drink that I find difficult to drink black...“
