“We just moved into the area and ventured out on a walk with our kiddos to try some of the local shops and found Jake’s Bakes. Wow!! We loved everything about our first visit. Jake is so lovely and kind, and really hit it off with our kiddos. The lemonades were so refreshing and yummy. And the BAKED GOODS — don’t even get me started because they’re delicious — every single one that we tried! We have decided that we’re going to frequent Jake’s Bakes for a coffee and a baked good as a weekend treat whenever we can!“

“For anyone looking for something unique and amazing, you need to stop by - their pulled pork, rice and beans and cassava are to die for ... the cubano sandwich is amazing and the service is 10+ ... see you again soon! You were so helpful in explaining all the new dishes and we were happy to see we could still buy our favourites from your freezer!“

“I highly recommend this place!! Jennifer is absolutely fantastic!! Her creation for my wife’s 45th Birthday Cake was just AMAZING!! When I spoke with Jennifer over the phone I told her about my wife’s addiction with KFC. Jen came up with the most creative and delicious cake I have ever had!! Not only did the cake look just like KFC, it tasted delicious!! Thank you very much Jennifer Mayrl and Cakes By Design, for the most AMAZING Cake creation ever!! “Lovely Italian bakery with large selection of baked goods and grocery items. They also have a deli, a hot deli and wide selection of fresh bread that can be sliced on site. Staff were friendly and personable. Location is conveniently close to highway 69.“

“It's Costco. What's not to love about it. For those who don't know about it, it's a membership based store mainly for bulk purchases. Has a range of foods, clothing, and most home supplies. This one has a huge parking lot, is spacious with very friendly staff and of course its signature deli. Also has a gas station.“

“I love Don's!! Food is my passion and this family is all about the passion. Nearly 50 years of doing things right. I make the trip from Toronto to Don's in Barrie and or Muskoka (Bala) a couple times a month. Everything they prepare is top shelf!!“

“we've been here many moons ago and pass it often as it can be seen on hwy. It's a small shop in an industrial area by Costco (everyone knows where that is in Barrie), we were greeted by Sam who guided us from prices to popularity. We settled on assorted NY cheesecake. They also carry imperfect ones in a separate marked freezer but I'm not sure what they mean by imperfect so we'll stick to the not imperfect (? ????). Will update on looks and tastes tomorrow.Had few laughs and learned to pronounce Pfalzgraf (falls-graph) I was saying it all wrong "fah-laugh-laugh" is what I've been saying all these years whenever we passed the storeThanks Sam!!Merry Christmas ????December 20, 2022“
