“Found this place by chance when visiting Barrie. I searched for a vegan option and this was around the corner. Wish they had this place in Toronto. Watched them going above and beyond customizing an order with no hesitation (I was eyeball rolling as I was listening). The chef came out and talked to me about the food, and the recommendations from the staff are on point. Bonus: They help the community and are a zero waste store! Support stores this awesome. Tempeh BLT -OMG.“

“We drove from Penetanguishene for a lunch date and let my mom choose where to go! With sooo many options on Dunlop Street - Mexhico was the one that caught her eye! We were welcomed into the restaurant and realized it was vegan! Now worries as this is an option for anyone! The food was delicious and fresh and you wouldn’t even know you weren’t eating meat! We had the Tacos Pastor, Enchiladas & Ch*kn Flautas. They also have our favourite Hornitos bottled fruit drinks! We will be back! Thank you for a great afternoon to catch up and treat my mom!“

“What a joy to discover this restaurant/grocery market in Barrie after a meeting nearby. The vegetarian burrito was superb, as were the side order fries, and we appreciated the server's patience with my mangled attempts at Spanish. Service was efficient and friendly. We were happy to stock up on sauces and other food items on the way out. Would highly recommend this place to anyone in the area looking for authentic and flavourful food.“

“Tried Hakka Town last night for the first time and wow! the food was incredible. I loved the Chicken Pakora and the Manchurian Beef. We also enjoyed the Chili Chicken vegetable noodles and spring rolls. Prices are reasonable and quality ingredients! We will be back!“

“Food is good and majority of the time fresh. The portions have gotten smaller while the prices have remained the same. The staff are nice and will let you sample the food to ensure you like and ensure its freshness it before purchasing

“Its easy to think of the Linx as a golf venue with a bar. However, our experience on Saturday evening was way way above what that previous statement may have conjured up. Met at the entrance by a lovely lady who showed us to our golf suite, and promptly delivered two drinks. An hour of fun playing a course I could only ever dream of attending, while listening to the live music in the background. We met some friends in the Restaurant shortly after we finished playing golf and were then entertained by a fantastic 3 hours of live music while our 5 star gourmet food was delivered. Apps were fresh muscles delivered that morning, ahi tuna ceviche, the house fried pretzels (OMG!!!!) followed by Steak Neptune, Lamb shanks, Scallops and port Belly's YUM ! The desert, umm how do you say this....I'm coming back if only for the desert, Tacos !!! Yes I said Tacos , LOL, now you're just going to have to take my word for it, you have never had desert tacos like these. Do your taste buds a favour and even if you don't play golf, go for dinner, its a sophisticated atmosphere with golf on the side, you won't be disappointed.“

“I didn’t know what to expect here. When I got there I found an amazing variety of vegan foods. From frozen chicken parmesan and cauliflower wings to giant snickers bars. I wasn’t prepared to eat there or I would’ve grabbed food in the cafe but I got a few things frozen to go. The snickers was da bomb. Will definitely go back.“

“An amazing place to find gluten free items. Gives a gluten free man hope that he can still enjoy simple wonders of the world like a choclate chip cookie. Highly recommend. “I have visited the place multiple times now. The pizza is amazing in taste, smells enticing and looks are 10 on 10. I have tried almost all the pizzas they have and never had any complaints.

Vegetarian options: There are a couple of vegetarian options that you can choose from. Personally, I like the Indian Style Pizza.“
