Had an awesome patio lunch for my mom’s birthday. Good food, drinks, and service. Tons of variety for the vegetarians in our group!
It feels like our yesterday visit was the worst in my experience…
I was told I won’t be able to order the 3rd beer because I didn’t eat enough 😂
We came 8 persons to celebrate our friend’s anniversary. And you just ruined the party with your weird strange policy.
We ordered lots of food! We ordered 1 beer plus 1 shot for a person. At some point our server told we are not allowed to order more alcohol because we have to finish what we ordered....read full review
My original review was 5 stars. And we loved this place.
But I had to change it to 1 star.
Why would you limit people to order alcohol when people are absolutely sane and sober?!
The server disappeared after one couple of our guests made an order. After 10 minutes of wait we had to ask from another server to call our server who got lost.... That's what made our server mad... and caused the problem.

Based on the reviews, Beertown is a great restaurant with amazing food and exceptional staff. The service is excellent, friendly, attentive, and kind, making everyone feel welcome and respected. The staff go out of their way for customers, even getting a family a bouquet of flowers during a difficult time. The atmosphere is great, and the patio is dog friendly. The food is amazing no matter what you get. Specific meals mentioned include fish and chips, calamari, brisket burger, and spinach artichoke dip, all of which were delicious. Brunch is always good, and personal favourite apps are the pretzels. Beertown is family friendly and dog friendly. It is a must restaurant to eat at for anyone in Barrie or just passing through.
