Let me start by saying this is NOT a reflection of the front end staff. They were lovely and should not be penalized for this review.We ate here on 3 occasions because my youngest child was ill and leaving the hotel was not really an option.The buffet was ok at best, like a step down from golden griddle which is also pretty terrible kind of ok. Had occasion to be in Barrie at the Holiday Inn. The restaurant was larger than I expected. The food was delicious, the service was great, the food was served in a timely manner, done as I wanted and still hot. The decor is bar-like but not tasteless. Parking is available. The restaurant is up a flight of stairs-elevator is available.

We went for the Christmas buffet . The service was great ! However the food was not as advertised, it was over priced cafeteria food, served on the cold side, veggies were not cleaned . It was really pitiful, and overpriced .
