“This restaurant is lovely and located inside a museum in downtown Barrie, near the waterfront. The chicken club was amazing, as well as the soup. The latte was great as well. I want to come back to try the other items on the menu, this place has good vibes only and a beautiful, modern aesthetic.“

Not because of the fact we hate our house here (LOL) but WE LOVE the MMMM DONUTS that we purchased at Georgian Mall yesterday and want to be closer to them. In all my 58 years, I have NEVER EVER tasted any Donuts like these. These are without a doubt, the BEST tasting Donuts ever and we are both Donutaholics. As newly retired Young Seniors, if that is a thing mind you, we love going on road trips. Barrie is a popular stop for us. After seeing so many people walking around with these pink Donut boxes we decided it is time for us to try these. I am still in Heaven over the taste. FABULOUS FABULOUS FABULOUS. “Stopped in here for breakfast recently, based on the reviews.The place is VERY small, only about 10 tables, and it's VERY cluttered with things on the wall, and could definitely use a cleaning, especially in the bathrooms, and some updating and paint. You feel like you're eating at grammas house. Literally.But! The couple that runs the place are super, very friendly and welcoming, easy to talk to, they know everyone by name, and the food is very good, portions are decent and prices are fair.Some areas for improvement; The coffee wasn't very good, the breakfast sausage was "porky" tasting, and the home fries were under cooked and needed more crisping.I'd suggest some light music so it's not so awkwardly quiet in such a small place.The bacon was good, eggs were cooked perfectly, French toast was awesome! Overall it was a good experience.“

“Been coming here for years! The vegan pantry is the cutest little 100% vegan and gluten free bakery! They have the best treats- my favorite being the blondies and the fluffernutter cookies ( when they have them available). I always love popping in grabbing a latte and a few sweet treats! “I like this place, one of the best coffee and european style of pastries, great great atmosphere, , great summer terrace and interior design, and the last time it became much more cleaner. One thing , I would like to have in this caffee is less sweatener dishes, more variety of sandwiches or rolls.“

The breakfast and lunch geared menu and tasty desserts are all good quality, fresh and flavourful. “Staff was on par, portion sizes were good. The only thing I noticed was that was ascu was among the adds at the table, there was the one that talked about a no straw policy. I ordered 2 drinks in which I noticed both times that they had given me a straw(plastic). SO I am curious as to when that policy will be put into place, as giving me a straw in my drink is a bit counter productive.“

I love the theme of the place, it’s a great location to work and have a coffee, or to bring a load of friends and play games all day and into the evening (with maybe another drink or two) . Staff are always very friendly and polite and I really couldn’t recommend this place enough!!“
