“Easily one of the best places to go visit in Barrie! Flying Monkeys is so unique with not only their crafted beers and seltzers, but with the entire atmosphere of their brewery. Their tap room is so fun and colourful leaving you constantly looking around the room at the weird and wonderful decor items. They always have live music playing, and their artists are always amazing! Their beers and seltzers are on point with literally something for everyone! “1-Follow up on reservations for my party by the restaurant hours ahead-and seating location was as requested.Notified we had two for service that day -Catt /Makayla .2-Informed both-we were catching up our once a month chit/chat and they informed us of the menus - etc —choices were made on our part with both of them checking on our various selections and keeping things flowing all the time.-questions of changing salad dressings with our selections-just one of the changes after that a few more but never gave the suggestion to us that it was any problem.-Several times we were asked how are things going-was there any thing we did not have or do we wish to change anything that was just not what we thought we were Ordering from the menus. We said no and they said enjoy your time .We did and again we left knowing that is a place in Barrie you might wanted to add to seek and find list of where to eat in Barrie,Ontario soon.“

“This is not the first time for us at this location. We went about a year ago, and the experience was the same. The food is outstanding, the staff are extremely polite and attentive. Management is always present throughout the dining rooms, and the place is clean. During a time when it's hard to go out because everything is so expensive, you know going to the Keg in Barrie, you'll get your money's worth.

“We normally only patronize independent restaurants but my son and daughter in Law are big Jack Astor fans, so we had dinner there with them.
My expectations were not that high so I was very pleasantly surprised.
I really liked the lively upbeat atmosphere with great lighting and pictures/artwork.
The hosts and wait staff were very pleasant and professional. I liked the team serving concept too, great for efficiency.
And the food was quite good.
I had a meal size salad called the Fiesta, highly recommend this if you are into zesty salads with a large piece of guacamole.
My son had a nice New York steak with a large baked potato and grilled vegetables, very good.
And my wife and Daughter in Law had a chicken wrap and chicken fingers, both quite good.
Deserts are reasonably priced and delicious too.
Even the gardens outside are healthy and well kept.

“The crispy spring rolls are amazing!!! Vegetarian were our fav. The food was very good. Huge portions!!! There were 4 of us, all adults. We ordered an order of spring rolls each & then 3 dishes to share. We each had a full to go container to take home. Definitely Family style worked best for us because of the amount of food. The outside of the bar looks run down and not so inviting, however, once inside the staff are really friendly and the food is great, the price is even better!

However, the food is delicious—one of the best pizzas we've had, and the pasta was delicious, but aside from the lady at the register (and elderly woman with blonde hair), the service was very nice and friendly.“

“went to Sakana house location at Big Bay Point with a group of 8 yesterday (Feb3), about 40 minutes into receiving our food, different individuals from our table start finding hair in the food while grabbing it straight from each platter. the first time a hair is found we mention it to the staff and just put aside the food that has a 10" hair in it. then it continues, long hairs, short hairs, black hair, brown hair, etc. each time we show the staff they take it away. after 5 times in a row we stop eating and decide we want to go. we ask to speak to the manager. no manager comes to us. a staff by the name of "Na Na" decides to say she was sorry, but everyone wears hair nets and it's busy...... we walk to the area where staff makes and preps food, not one person is wearing hair nets...... I again ask for a manager to which no one never comes. she then says she'd give us a discount on each bill for the trouble. I paying for 3, with a bill of $134 got a $10 discount for hairy food and we went elsewhere because we were still hungry at we were not there for long..... the table behind us found hair in their food as well, in their first plate. they left right away..... So If you want hairy sushi at full price, go here. I will be calling Food Safety and complaining about this location as well. 0/5 rating!!“

“Had a lovely meal at one of my fave Thai restaurants. Interior is nice, service was great she even treated us to a birthday dessert on the house. Kids loved the non-spicy pad thai and the pineapple rice served in a half pineapple!! Food was tasty and fresh! Definitely recommend :)

“Love coming here! Always so sweet. I work in the mall so they give a better employee discount than anyone in the food court. One time I forgot to tell them i work in the mall so he gave me free chicken on my wrap because it equaled to my discount! Definitely recommend. Food is so yummy and i feel good after eating it.

“The truth is manager would hook up with girls in his office stealing moneny from at louis and allowing his bartenders to to coke in the bathroom and god knows what else all the pools competitive poola and so forth are botched and have determined winners like old regulars that have put forth money into the estqblishment almoat all of the regulars drink and drive and will go further to say ive wqrched guys come out of restroom and id go in and find abunch of coke on the bathroom table there , bartenders getting into regulars cara to take shots of alcohal and indisend exposure by older woman with the age to be someone granny. Needless to say also got bartenders im theyre that would be doing coke with the managers brother aswell“
