The service is excellent. I saw my waitress several times throughout my dining experience. She was friendly and accommodating.

The atmosphere is also excellent. I didn't feel too exposed or boxed in. I was far enough away from other customers to feel comfortable. The restaurant itself is designed well. A nice ambiance.

The steak and poutine I ordered for my kids was well received. They absolutely loved it. I ordered it to be done medium, and it was cooked medium. 4/5 on the steak. Very nice.

The chicken wings I ordered, however... left a lot to be desired. They were terrible, in fact. Although I ordered them with the Thai sauce flavour, they tasted flavourless. They just weren't enjoyable at all. Wings are a 1/5. Very bad.“

“1-Follow up on reservations for my party by the restaurant hours ahead-and seating location was as requested.Notified we had two for service that day -Catt /Makayla .2-Informed both-we were catching up our once a month chit/chat and they informed us of the menus - etc —choices were made on our part with both of them checking on our various selections and keeping things flowing all the time.-questions of changing salad dressings with our selections-just one of the changes after that a few more but never gave the suggestion to us that it was any problem.-Several times we were asked how are things going-was there any thing we did not have or do we wish to change anything that was just not what we thought we were Ordering from the menus. The first thing I do upon entering is look to the left behind the bar to see my Sassy Deb !!!
A simple look and head acknowledgment meaning get to your table … I will be there in short order
And that she always is with a funny and cute smile almost to say I didn't mean that

Her presence and joyful and playful banter is what keeps me coming back

PS Always has a soap free wine glass and talks me into a half price bottle of wine for economic purposes

“Farmhouse was a perfect venue for our wedding, the space is beautiful and the coordinator Tara was extremely helpful and responded quickly to our inquiries. We had a cocktail style reception after the ceremony, the food and drinks were excellent, and the staff were all lovely.

We were really happy with how everything turned out and we definitely recommend ordering the late night poutines!“

“Bohemia is the best! This quaint coffee shop is perfectly situated in the heart of downtown Barrie with both street and lake views! The cafe is decorated with ornate detailing and rinky dinks everywhere you look! I describe it best as a stylish thrift store vibe - in the BEST way! So cute and aesthetically pleasing. Somewhere you can bring your grandmother or the girls & the gays! They are extremely inclusive and I feel welcomed every single time I step in their doors whether I'm with my partner or by myself.

The menu selection is small but it's everything you could ever need. The baristas have perfected their craft and the drinks are always made with attention to detail and quality! Not to mention they're all sweethearts. Whoever the baker is, I just need you to know that I would give you EVERYTHING I OWN for that focaccia bread oh my god! Everything that's baked is flawless and insanely delicious. They have sweet, salty, breakfast & lunch items and they rotate their menu with seasonal items. YUM!

“Best Thai food in Barrie. The dishes are very flavourful, but if you want it spicy, just ask. They will also bring their hot sauce to your table if it isn't spicy enough for you. We have been going here for many years, and the service is great. We especially love the Chicken Coconut soup and calamari appetizer.“

This lovely little piece of Italian everything was a great place to have lunch with the family.
We had pizzas, veal sandwich, pasta and garlic knots. All were delicious! The taste and quality you could tell came from love.
Lots of walk out specials, lunch specials and all kinds of extras to take home. A little market of things from Italy and home cooked meals refrigerated for later.

“Started going to this place after placing an order through a delivery app, and fell in love with the quality of the food here. Best burger I've had in a long time. Big portions, good price for a burger and honestly stopping in and grabbing one takes about 5 minutes. I love the atmosphere, very friendly family owned, good place for a quick bite. Skip Wendy's or McDonald's and just try this place out.“

“went to Sakana house location at Big Bay Point with a group of 8 yesterday (Feb3), about 40 minutes into receiving our food, different individuals from our table start finding hair in the food while grabbing it straight from each platter. the first time a hair is found we mention it to the staff and just put aside the food that has a 10" hair in it. then it continues, long hairs, short hairs, black hair, brown hair, etc. each time we show the staff they take it away. after 5 times in a row we stop eating and decide we want to go. we ask to speak to the manager. no manager comes to us. a staff by the name of "Na Na" decides to say she was sorry, but everyone wears hair nets and it's busy...... we walk to the area where staff makes and preps food, not one person is wearing hair nets...... I again ask for a manager to which no one never comes. she then says she'd give us a discount on each bill for the trouble. I paying for 3, with a bill of $134 got a $10 discount for hairy food and we went elsewhere because we were still hungry at we were not there for long..... the table behind us found hair in their food as well, in their first plate. they left right away..... So If you want hairy sushi at full price, go here. I will be calling Food Safety and complaining about this location as well. 0/5 rating!!“

“We had a great first time dining experience at Pie! The wings were delicious! They aren’t deep fried but rather smoked and cooked in the pizza oven. Yummy honey coating 😋 The mac and cheese was creamy and garlicky…perfect comfort food 🥰 Katherine, our lovely server, was a genuine gem and was personable and attentive our whole visit. We sat outside on the patio, overlooking the active waterfront 🏖️, enjoying the summer vibe. Fantastic overall! Highly recommended.“
