“Our first time here and we did not regret it. My wife had tasty steamed dumplings that came in their own bamboo steamer, while I had mango curry, which was delicious and filling. The menu had quite a few different cuisines, so it was easy to find something. Will definitely go back!

Vegetarian options: My curry had paneer as the protein but tofu was also available

“Me and my boyfriend just noticed this place about a month or 2 ago and have already gone at least once a week haha their burgers are so good! Wait is a bit longer than the usual fast food place but that’s normal when you’re getting quality food, definitely recommend trying!! This place is one of our go to burger spots here in Barrie now that’s for sure!“

The atmosphere was incredible :) Jasleen especially, was the jolliest, kindest, most helpful employee I have ever seen! “I went here for a little snack, but I ended up with a delicious meal instead. I had the Gyro with Onion Rings. The meat was cooked amazing, and the Tzatski was wonderful (I also suggest getting the spicy garlic/mayo on there for a little kick).

The man who took my order was extremely friendly, and the woman who made my food was lovely.“

“If you're looking for one of "those" places that actually make a decent portion of food for a fair price with a home style vibe, look no further.I have quit drive-thru combos and fast food nonsense due to their offerings. It's a hidden gem for sure. Even the old style order calling with one of those little mics.Bring an appetite!

“We normally only patronize independent restaurants but my son and daughter in Law are big Jack Astor fans, so we had dinner there with them.
My expectations were not that high so I was very pleasantly surprised.
I really liked the lively upbeat atmosphere with great lighting and pictures/artwork.
The hosts and wait staff were very pleasant and professional. I liked the team serving concept too, great for efficiency.
And the food was quite good.
I had a meal size salad called the Fiesta, highly recommend this if you are into zesty salads with a large piece of guacamole.
My son had a nice New York steak with a large baked potato and grilled vegetables, very good.
And my wife and Daughter in Law had a chicken wrap and chicken fingers, both quite good.
Deserts are reasonably priced and delicious too.
Even the gardens outside are healthy and well kept.

“Classic flame broiled burger with popular toppings. Gravy was delicious - big burger - real fries. Could be better if they made burgers from scratch. Classic old atmosphere from the 60's. They could learn a thing or two from the Flame broil burger Mecca - Golden Star Yonge and Steeles.“

“My son and I had a great meal ?. Our compliments to Chef Kathleen! Very friendly staff. I was impressed with the food and staff on my first visit there about a month ago. So impressed I brought my son there for his birthday. My son played golf and was impressed with the simulator. We happened to be there at the same time as Jason Freeborough and he walked my son through ways to use the simulator to improve his golf. Thanks Jason, I know Blair will be back not only for the food but the golf experience.“

“Burger Royal does have really good food. I will give them that. But their service is terrible. I went in the other day and was told my burger would be 10-15 mins and it took them 28 mins to make just a cheese burger!!! Nothing else!! This isn’t the first time this has happened. This has probably happened 4 or 5 times over the last 7 times I have stopped in. Those are terrible averages. They only had 3 ppl working and they were clearly under staffed for being around dinner time. Not to mention there was no fifth gear they were all stuck in first gear. No hustle, just dragging their feet. It was sad to watch how slow they were for how busy they were. It was painful to watch. They clearly don’t care about customer service. I feel like when ever I decide to give them another shot its the same disappointment. Burger Royal is making it much easier to not go there even though they have good food, they really lack in the service part. Great food is nothing without proper and professional service!! I hope they can get their act together!“

“I have eaten here several times over the past year. The staff are polite and the facilities are clean. It is not a sit down/waiter type of restaurant, rather a fast food burger place with a few tables. I have only had burger and fries, but they are fresh and you do get a lot, for a great price. They do have your typical menu, but I am so happy with my burger & fries I have yet to try anything else.“

“I had a perfectly cooked white meat quarter chicken dinner with fries and salad. The portion was good and the meal was as good as ever. Worth the price. The wait staff was attentive and polite. Had a piece of yummy lemon meringue pie for dessert.“

Bun was boring, nothing wrong with it just nothing unique about it either, tasted like your average hamburger bun from one of those 12 packs at a grocery store.Restaurant was clean (5/5)Server was friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful (4.5/5) ... could have given more suggestions but overall no complaintsWings were good (3.5/5), the quality of the chicken could have been better but the sauces were nice and the chicken was NOT dry which was appreciatedPackaging is adequate, nothing fancy, but it works at least.
