“Surprised this is my first time here! Cute and welcoming space, warm and joyful staff, fast service and delicious food (not heavy, super fresh and flavourful). Particularly enjoyed the shrimp rolls, chicken glass noodles, and garlic beef, very tender and lots of garlic! Unfortunately they were out of the saimese beef, but look forward to trying that next time. Portions are a great size too.

“Halibut and Chips were great. very generous on chips. I would recommend a two can dine option if you are not super hungry. I gave 4-5 for service because she did not suggest the 2 can dine option since it was actually our first visit. It was very good and found the fish was not greasy. The calamari was also quite good with a generous helping. I will certain go to this location again. I am surprised that they don't have an active website and the picture the menu has to be changed. those prices are quite old. Halibut and chips was just over $25.“

“The shawarma at Shawarma Land is always consistent. If you have ever tried Joes shawarma in Richmond Hill, I would say Joes has far more tender chicken, but the overall flavour profile is different. Shawarma Land is great, but falls flat of exceptional as the chicken can be on the dry side. Otherwise, the rest of the ingredients are fresh and it’s an above average shawarma depending on your taste.“

“We frequently go to the Davis Diner and the service and food has always been good. When we went there today we got a pleasant surprise. Their Easter Specials were advertised by the door and the “Roast Lamb” caught our attention and we decided to give it a try. The lamb was cooked perfectly; tender, moist and nicely seasoned. It was served with mashed potatoes, grilled vegetables and garlic bread. The sauce that came with the lamb was also very good. This exceptional meal was reasonably priced at just under $20. Dinner for 2 with coffee and tea came to just over $50 with tax. Well done Davis Diner.“

The fish could not have been more fresh and the rice perfectly prepared (moist and fresh). We had various rolls, teriyaki style chicken and salmon as bento boxes. (Grandson ate everything and wished he could have had a second spring roll but mom had already eaten hers). This is a delightful, likely family-run business, located in a strip mall but don't be fooled by the location. It is a real gem of a local restaurant.“

Been coming here for years. Used to goto the old spot, with the big green mural on the wall.

Always get the same thing - jerk pork and whatever patties I feel like. Always great. Its simple, quick, easy, doesnt break the bank and they're always super friendly.

The only bad thing is that if I get a box of patties, they disappear too fast. 😂“
