“1-Follow up on reservations for my party by the restaurant hours ahead-and seating location was as requested.Notified we had two for service that day -Catt /Makayla .2-Informed both-we were catching up our once a month chit/chat and they informed us of the menus - etc —choices were made on our part with both of them checking on our various selections and keeping things flowing all the time.-questions of changing salad dressings with our selections-just one of the changes after that a few more but never gave the suggestion to us that it was any problem.-Several times we were asked how are things going-was there any thing we did not have or do we wish to change anything that was just not what we thought we were Ordering from the menus. We said no and they said enjoy your time .We did and again we left knowing that is a place in Barrie you might wanted to add to seek and find list of where to eat in Barrie,Ontario soon.“

“My husband and I stopped in for a quick drink and had such a great experience thanks to the bartender, Emily! She greeted us with a big smile and was so friendly and welcoming throughout our visit. She recommended her favourite dishes — the Steak Bacon & Swiss and the Blue Cheese Pasta — and both were absolutely delicious. The drinks were fantastic as well. “Went here for the first time tonight for a birthday dinner with friends and had a great time. The food and drinks were on point! Yes, everything was a bit pricy, but it tasted fantastic and noone had a single complaint about their food or drinks. Our server was great for being at our table almost instantly, giving us time while waiting for others to show up, and the most impressive was listening. I mentioned it was not only my birthday, but anothers the same day and one a few days ago. They ended up coming out with a birthday dessert for all of us at the end of the meal. Will absolutely be back! 👍🏼“

The one thing I will say is the bottom of the bun fell apart super easy so my only recommendation is to get a thicker/sturdier bun as it became super messy (still tasted amazing!!!)“

“I just had my wedding reception there for a small group. The food was phenomenal, staff was exceptional and friendly. Made us felt welcomed and accompanied us with pictures. The only issue may have been with going down the stairs for the bathroom as we had elderly people, but they managed. I would recommend this place 9.5 out of 10. Looking forward to coming back here again and a huge thank you to our server Lorisa.“

“I used to love this restaurant. The food was always delicious. Most of the time I order for take-out, and the staff was always very courteous when I arrived to pick up my order.

And their Pad Thai was - in my opinion - the best in the city!!!

It became hit or miss for a while, but now it seems to be back to its original quality level. Hopefully it stays there!!!“

“went to Sakana house location at Big Bay Point with a group of 8 yesterday (Feb3), about 40 minutes into receiving our food, different individuals from our table start finding hair in the food while grabbing it straight from each platter. the first time a hair is found we mention it to the staff and just put aside the food that has a 10" hair in it. then it continues, long hairs, short hairs, black hair, brown hair, etc. each time we show the staff they take it away. after 5 times in a row we stop eating and decide we want to go. we ask to speak to the manager. no manager comes to us. a staff by the name of "Na Na" decides to say she was sorry, but everyone wears hair nets and it's busy...... we walk to the area where staff makes and preps food, not one person is wearing hair nets...... I again ask for a manager to which no one never comes. she then says she'd give us a discount on each bill for the trouble. I paying for 3, with a bill of $134 got a $10 discount for hairy food and we went elsewhere because we were still hungry at we were not there for long..... the table behind us found hair in their food as well, in their first plate. they left right away..... So If you want hairy sushi at full price, go here. I will be calling Food Safety and complaining about this location as well. 0/5 rating!!“

“Had supper here after driving to Barrie from Ottawa. Food was awesome, service excellent and price very reasonable. I had the chicken parmigiana and the waitress was super friendly and made sure we wanted for nothing. I highly recommend this place and make sure to order the onion rings if you want to be reminded of drive-in onion rings from your teens! So good!“

“Walking along Wellington Plaza, I noticed a sign in a window advertising samosas. Since I hadn’t had one in a while, I figured I’d go in and give them a try. I was surprised not to see the usual samosas sitting in a warming oven. When I ordered, the very nice person at the counter asked me to wait a few minutes. I assumed he was just going to grab some from the back. Five minutes later, he came out with samosas fresh from the fryer. If you’ve never had freshly made samosas, you have to try Honest Restaurant. The pastry was incredibly crunchy and flaky — nothing like the ones that have been sitting in a warmer for hours — and even the filling was hot all the way through.“

“The truth is manager would hook up with girls in his office stealing moneny from at louis and allowing his bartenders to to coke in the bathroom and god knows what else all the pools competitive poola and so forth are botched and have determined winners like old regulars that have put forth money into the estqblishment almoat all of the regulars drink and drive and will go further to say ive wqrched guys come out of restroom and id go in and find abunch of coke on the bathroom table there , bartenders getting into regulars cara to take shots of alcohal and indisend exposure by older woman with the age to be someone granny. “Hadn’t been there in years. Food was delicious but the place was empty at lunch and looked pretty run down. Atmosphere pretty dull with no music. Bathrooms pretty dirty. Place needs a good upgrade. But rhe food was delicious. Id recommend rake out and not eat inside“
